Goku couldn't be revived because Shenron already brought him back in the Saiyan saga, the earth dragon balls can't bring back someone who's already been revived before

Even if Goku couldn't be revived by the Dragon Balls, Gohan seems to be as (or even more) powerful then Goku during the Cell saga, (if I remember correctly.) And if he continues to train as hard as possible, he (and the other Z-Fighters) could win the ToP. Then they could revive everybody who died with the super dragon balls. It would make more sense that Goku would be revived by the Dragon Balls anyway, sense Goku died from a Injury, and not a sickness.

Damn....this is close to being as dark as the Future Trunks special! I honestly think that seeing my fav characters as Zombies (just like Marvel Zombies) makes for a good, horror and shocking story!
Especially the fact that my fav bug, Cell got the spotlight this time around as the actual savior of humanity! For a Halloween special, this was a perfect one! I would not mind at all if an animation or fan manga was made for this what if!

We need a comic and an animation of this! I need to see the imagery. Trying to imagine zombie Goku and Vegeta is difficult. The pics throughout the vid don't even do it justice. A series titled Dragonball Z:Day of the dead would be absolute madness. Like a rated 18 violent dbz story.

This turned out so good! I gotta say it ended WAY happier than I expected and think it ended sensibly.
The scariest thing in Dragon Ball imo would either be the Genocide blast scene or Cell in general.

Yeah, it was a dumb idea.... But it was Halloween awesome! I thought it was pretty clever to use the heart virus to turn Goku into a zombie. I thought it was a great story. Today is my Birthday so a Halloween birthday and a Halloween DBZombie is pretty neat. Nicely done, I’d love to see this story animated, it would make for a cool alt timeline episode however I feel that a idea like this could be fleshed out so much if it were to be a movie with a 70-90 min run time. Great job, keep em coming, these are really entertaining and enjoyable. Thanks.

I thought this was going to be dumb but i was listening to this pretty intensely as it began. I really enjoyed this! Good work my friend! As for your question though, i find it hard to answer because not too many scary things happened in the show, or at least nothing actually scared me. But the closest answer i could give you is when Freeza blew up Earth in Super, during those few seconds before Whis saved everyone i thought Freeza had managed to kill the entire planet, along with even Whis and Beerus.
So Dr Gero lowkey becomes the MVP of this story sorta... huh..

I wasn't sure how this would have turned out at first, bur this was entertaining. Also, Goku was cured, right? He died from his injuries from all of his previous encounters. I believe this means that Goku can be brought back to life because he didn't die from natural causes. I think it would be interesting to see a Part 2 to this, somehow.

I could see Cell being able to become perfect using the dragon balls to transfer 18 & 17's (Once they revive him) power to him, plus with the extra (Gotta stop that virus) inside of him, he could go out into space searching for it where ever it shows up making a good name for himself doing so. He could even have his own Dr.Cell show, I now want that.
Then there's another time line like this yet trunks comes to the future and saves a time line.
