서양적인 것과 동양적인 것. 그 어디쯤의 경계.
동양고주파는 양금(윤은화), 베이스(최우영), 퍼커션(장도혁)으로 이루어진 3인조 퓨전 국악 아트록 밴드이다. 비록 3명, 소규모의 구성이지만 이들이 뿜어내는 에너지는 무척이나 강렬하다.
베이스와 퍼커션의 탄탄한 리듬 위에 선율타악기인 양금의 동양적인 음색과 선율이 어우러져서 아름답고, 화려하며 독창적인 음악을 만들어 낸다.
지금껏 한국 음악계에서 볼 수 없었던 파격적인 구성을 가진 동양고주파. 이들이 만들어 내는 음악적 단단함과 독특함은 누구누구와 같다라는 평범한 수사를 거부하기에 충분하다.

“Dongyang Gozupa” is a musical band of a yanggeum player, bassist, and percussionist that blend art rock and Korean classical music. The trio delivers to listeners vitality and energy far more intense than is imaginable from a group of three. The asian timbres of the melodic-percussive yanggeum ride upon the robust rhythms of the bass and the percussions to weave brilliant and creative pieces of music. With their rare combination of instruments, these unique and vigorous artists will unravel exceptional sounds that won't be compared to any predecessors.
