PS: in your videos, you use a n-spire graphing calculator. In my upcoming exams, am I allowed to use a similar calculator? i.e. Casio f-x991 plus

Hi, first of all, thank you for these amazing videos, they really helped me alot. I wanted to ask if the stretch, which you showed in the last question in this video, is in the 0580 syllabus. I haven't seen it in any past papers and am confused about whether I should prepare them for the CIE exams or not. Thank you.

what do we do to the coordinates after finding the midpoint of the two identical points ? rotating 90 clockwise and 180 ??
After finding the midpoint of two identical points, if you want to rotate the coordinates 90 degrees clockwise or 180 degrees, you can follow these steps:
Rotating 90 Degrees Clockwise:
To rotate the coordinates 90 degrees clockwise, you can use the following transformation:
Let's say the midpoint coordinates are (x, y).
To rotate 90 degrees clockwise, swap the x-coordinate with the y-coordinate and negate the new x-coordinate.
New coordinates: (y, -x)
For example, if the midpoint is (2, 5), the rotated coordinates would be (5, -2) after a 90-degree clockwise rotation.
Rotating 180 Degrees:
To rotate the coordinates 180 degrees, you can use the following transformation:
Let's say the midpoint coordinates are (x, y).
To rotate 180 degrees, negate both the x-coordinate and the y-coordinate.
New coordinates: (-x, -y)
For example, if the midpoint is (2, 5), the rotated coordinates would be (-2, -5) after a 180-degree rotation.
These transformations can be used to rotate any set of coordinates, not just the midpoint, by the specified angles :-)

Hi quick question not related to transformations, im taking my igcse 0607 paper 4 in 3 days when doing working for a question should the answers in my working be 5 significant figures then only in 3 significant figures for my final answer?

This video is quite helpful, thank you. However I still do have a couple of questions, first of which is can you explain how we find the center of rotation without tracing paper a bit more in depth. And secondly are we allowed to take colored pencils in the exam and if so how many different colors do you recommend taking?

Hi sir, I saw your tracing paper video. it was helpful but did not show us how to find the center of rotation. It only showed us how to rotate the object. Are we supposed to use the tracing paper to intuitively find the center of rotation?

A negative just means it goes through the enlargement point and out the other side 🙂
