Making it for my daughter's birthday Sat. Holding thumbs that it will come out close to this lovely example! 🙏 Had to make vegan white chocolate and vegan butter to have it white enough for the pink frosting. Learning as I go. Both my kids are allergic to dairy and eggs 🙈.

This is fantastic.... shopkins is all I hear about so the videos will come in handy and I LOVE your contribution. A question though... do you ever make a mistake? Everything you do is perfect and always has been
Oh, yes, of course I made mistakes! It can be very frustrating, but I just stay calm and fix it. Just about anything can be fixed or redone, it's just cake after all. For example, this cake- I didn't let the ganache cool enough before pouring it. It ended up dripping all the way down the sides while I was working on the ice cream part. So I scraped it off the sides, re-smoothed the buttercream and re-added the drips!

Hi. Your cake is adorable. Great job! Does Swiss meringue buttercream need to be refrigerator because of the eggs?
Thank you. No, SMBC is okay at room temp for 2-3 days. The egg whites are cooked over a double boiler which makes them safe. That being said, I usually store my cakes in the fridge just because they are easier to handle and transport. Let sit until they are room temp before serving.

Okay I have a question I've been reading comments from your other videos to better understand
but if I make a cake and cover it with fondant and place it in the fridge will it still sweat when I deliver it if I keep it in a box without dry ice? or do I need the dry ice? and how long can it be outside until it starts to sweat? sorry I know it's alot of questions :(
The sweating will happen when you have a difference in temp, cold fridge/warm room. It's normal and will happen. I can only speak from experience in my climate, I've never made or delivered a cake outside of New England. The cake will sweat as it comes to room temp. But, the condensation will evaporate also. As long as you don't touch the surface the moisture will evaporate and you won't have any harm to the fondant. I use the dry ice for delivery to keep the cake from melting in warm temperatures and keep it sturdy for long deliveries (I frequently drive 2 hours to venues). It has nothing to do with preventing condensation not he cake, In the summer it will keep the cake a little colder longer and help keep the cake from melting in all the outdoor weddings! That being said, if anything the dry ice will make the sweating worse because the cake will be colder than fridge temperature at delivery. Hope that helps!
