Sharavathi Adventure Camp | Jog Falls | Jungle lodges & Resorts

We visited another Jungle lodges and resorts camp - Sharavathi Adventure Camp, (around 430 kms from bangalore), located on the backwaters of Talakalale dam, which is a balancing reservior build across sharavathi river. The camp was beautiful with a wide variety of flora and fauna to offer and we also visited the famous Jog falls. We got to hear a "whistling frog" at the camp as well, which was a first for me.

Just double checked...Kenneth mentions about Bombay bungalow across Sharavati river that is under Maharashtra territory. I assumed that that is the British bungalow...not sure...this comes in the story The maned tiger of Chordi

They say there are crocs in sharavathy backwaters, but this is balancing reservoir, and i checked, but they said there was none. But you can never be sure.
