- In this episode the three of us spend 4 amazing nights at Mapungubwe National Park in search of Africas Giants! In my opinion it is one of South Africas most amazing National Parks ands we had some incredible elephant sightings during our stay!

Mazhou is on our bucketlist ... once we have done that, we would have done all the national and provinvial parks in SA. But like you, despite the best intentions, we just never had the opportunity to get there and do it.

We are going to Mapunguwe next month. I just showed my family the experience at Mazhoe, not sure they will cope. We were there is October last year stayed at the Limopo citrus farm next door.

Edward, this is my favorite Park and you really did it justice. The waterhole must be one of Sanparks best-kept secrets. Even without your magnificent sightings, it is a photographer's dream. I love the diversity in that small Park. Your video certainly said a lot. You are so lucky to have seen a lion, indeed a rare sighting.

Mapungubwe is such an underrated gem in our opinion & we visit often either on route to & from Botswana or as long weekend getaways. We love the West of the park & Maloutswa Hide is incredible! The area around the camping & tents reminds me of Mana Pools. Pity you guys didn't do the off road 4x4 route - it's totally epic & a lot of fun to do!
Btw as a matter of interest what month did you film this?
Hubby & I are absolutely loving the videos from all of you guys! We are about to buy a Conqueror Comfort Platinum & learning SO much from you guys about camping do"s & don'ts all much needed as we have always been chalet dwellers so the info is invaluable!

Hi brilliant video really enjoy the way you cover these areas and the wildlife. I do have one request and I don't know if anybody else experiences this. When you narrate I have to set the volume to level 6 to hear you as soon as the music comes on its so loud I have to drop the volume to level 1 Just wondered if its just my set up or if its a general thing PS I watch on You tube on our TV

Thanks Jurgens! What I meant by that is that it’s not a secluded bush camp with no fences so there will be other campers, Sanparks has fantastic facilities 👍
All the foreign visitors are now isolated ...... This is what many S.A people love ..... have South Africa for themselves .However there are some downsides too ...... the Safari Industry is on their butts .
