It's so sad to see the Glamrocks trying to refrain themselves from hurting people. It makes me feel sorry for them, especially Roxanne. It's so touching that she realised she was hurting Cassie, being Roxy's biggest fan.

It's so cool how Roxy backs off the second she hears Cassie's voice. Maybe at some point, Glitchtrap's control ceded enough that now she's broken free and is just still really mad at Gregory? She seems to have handled all of this the best, honestly. She still seems fairly stable, unlike Chica and Monty. Certainly enough to keep herself from hurting an innocent child. Nice job, Roxy. I knew there was a reason I liked you.

Oh man, the entire sequence from 48:29 to 51:18 feels like a parallel to the start of the main SB game.
You meet Freddy at the start of the main game as a friendly bear, and you try to open the doors so he can get out; thus, you go inside the vents.
In Ruins you end up in the vents and see another mini music man chase like somewhere in the main SB game, except the vents look different with the VANNI mask equipped and a Freddy prototype is chasing you. It really adds up to the feeling of a destroyed or ruined version of the game.
50:39 This part is just so cool to think about if you compare it to the original game. Instead of Freddy helping you, he instead tried to kill you and now you're in the vents being chased by a mini music man but instead wearing a Vanny mask. Vanessa literally has a whole thing with afton so wearing the mask would be stupid because we could be brainwashed and yet here we are.
It feels like everything doesn't seem as it did. Especially with Roxy and Cassie, where we would later see that Gregory is a problem child and some players would regret doing the stuff in the original game.
A random thing that i noticed that i wanted to share is that at 6:04 he makes the exact same joke as he did in the base game, one year apart. Some things never change.
Yeah, that's disturbing to find cutouts of Gregory and Cassie. I like how you find so many clusters of eyeballs in the raceway as those are the very components stolen from Roxy.

Its interesting to see Gregory destroy the animatronics, while Cassie tries to fix them. Polar opposite personalitys and attitudes towards the animatronics.

Having Roxy back off after hearing Cassie’s voice is so interesting. Roxy seemed only be mad at Gregory since he took her eyes.
The mechanics of the Vanni mask in general just adds a whole other layer of complexity to the gameplay that the base game didnt quite have.
Is no one gonna talk about how Roxy apologized? Maybe she geared the voice and realized it wasn’t Gregory, and she apologized 27:20 I though it was a somewhat heartwarming moment when she said sorry, she didn’t mean to hurt an innocent kid

Well. It is said that Cassie is a huge fan of Roxy. Her biggest fan in fact. So when Cassie spoke, she recognize her voice and let her go.. Its like Freddy and Gregory buddy couple, and so is with Roxy and Cassie
So this essentially confirms that the redeeming Vanny ending is canon, not the Afton ending. They were initially tricking us into thinking it was the Afton ending by saying Gregory was trapped under the building, but we see now that this is not true. Hes not in the pizzaplex at all. We also see a battered up glamrock freddy missing his head.
Now in what ending does Freddy get beat up and has his head removed? The redemption ending. Additionally, Vanny’s mask is still in the building but not Vanny herself. At the end of the redemption ending, we see Vanny’s mask lying on the floor in the building. Its still there for Cassie to eventually find. Glitchtrap is still in the mask though, as we see him when we have it on and if we get too close, we see static start to build up, just like in the end of Help Wanted where we try to reboot the game before glitchtrap can take control of our body. He’s still there, waiting to use whoever puts the mask on as his next host.
just a little note for ya, the headless freddy has the word "prototype" on his leg.
However that freddy is not the true freddy, if you look at its foots it says “protype”, that freddy is merely a prototype made to mess with us
Also as far as i’m aware gregory escapes in the afton ending he doesn’t get trapped, that was just the mimic messing with us
But they never destroyed the pizza plex and didn't they try to fix the animtronics freddys head would've been fixed with the body maybe the vanny dismantled ending could be more possible since they probably went back to destroy freddy and gregory technically didn't leave yet mourning over freddy its also possible since vanny is not in this and when she got dismantled her mask went flying off
@@ArceTheTroll Idk. I think the Afton ending being canon is too simple to be true. I dont know whats up with the whole prototype thing, but I think everything in ruin points to the Vanny ending. The whole point of the dlc is probably to subvert our expectations and throw off everything we think we know about the ending.
Also vanny is show chasing Gregory last video while running away in daycare theater

Just wanna say how Interesting this is to me since I'm not seeing any other comments talking about it.
If I remember right, without the mask that scene plays out as the bot repeatedly asking if you need assistance, then its head falls off after Cassie tells it to be quiet. Weird detail that the captions show Roxy's line from later if you have the mask on, and I'm curious if that's a bug or intentional-

The line is indeed different, but while I thought the mask line was a reference to Roxy's later one (The 'Cassie, Cassie, can you hear me?') it was actually apparently a message from Gregory?
I like how Roxy stopped herself from hurting Cassie when she heard her voice.
I was sad that we didn't get Bonnie, but the reaction of Roxy when she heard Cassie's voice was really interesting! Wasn't expecting her to be sorry like that. Maybe she wasn't that bad after all?
We do actually get Bonnie, he is in Bonnie bowl destroyed. I saw another comment saying hes in bonnie bowl in the last episode.
you can get in there by deactivating all the wet floor signs there!
to correct you all you CAN see bonnie but you must deactivete all of them threwout the game then one final in bonnie bowl then the backstage curentend mentionned in the dev notes off screen of the main game (and i apologize im not originally english so my bad english is to be expected) itll open and wet floor bots surrond the battared bonnie
I originally hated roxy in the main game, but the ruin dlc made her better.

I felt glad that Eclipse was able to come out and that Roxy realized she was hurting Cassie and backed off.
This dlc looks so freaking good! I’m really enjoying marathoning these episodes, it’s taking a really bad day and making it much better.
48:31 if you notice Freddy’s foot before he stands up, you can see the word “Prototype”, this implies this is not the same Freddy as the one who helped Gregory, this is just a headless Prototype Freddy.
49:06 Another thing is that when Headless Prototype Freddy jumpscares you, you can see a very banged up music box inside what used to be his stomach hatch (and is now a makeshift mouth) right before you see the game over screen.

After the interaction with Roxy, it changes completely how I feel about her, in the first game I felt there was something missing (other than her eyes) but now she has some personality

27:25 you know when Freddy said (in the main game) that the animatronics wouldn’t hurt you? Yeah this is it! She didn’t hurt Cassie because she wasn’t Gregory, so she apologised! I honestly think it’s nice that some animatronics like Roxy can have a good side of you get on their good side first :)
It's because they have all been infected with the glitchtrap virus which makes them aggressive
The moment Roxy apologized, i immediately think back to what Freddy told us on how they are not capable of hurting anyone since that goes against their programing. Neat stuff for sure

Both the personalities of Eclipse and Roxy are what they were originally before they got corrupted and twisted by Glitchtrap.
I think monty was the only who was actually aggressive before Afton corrupted them

Im assuming this is because they still follow the child safety thing , so if they are still somewhat intact(like rox for example or moon n sun), they will still follow that same programming

I like that Cassie and Gregory use the walkie talkies to communicate, but they're like the cheap toy ones that only have a range of 500ft.

Ohhh those cut outs are very interesting, especially cause you can only see some of them in the AR world. I really like how they tell you a bit abt Cassie and Gregory’s backstory

I think the cutouts of Gregory and Cassie is representation of Evan and Cassidy. Since they both controlled golden Freddy. But after some time Cassie was the only one there which showed how Cassidy stayed behind to torture Afton.

Really like what they did with the prototype Freddy, it kinda refrences both Nightmare Fredbear with it's teeth like chest cavity, and Freddy's missing body in the princess quest ending of the base game. I'm curious if the present in it's chest cavity can be obtained though.
The dlc is so much more interesting and scarier than the regular game, honestly steelwool did a great job.
The regular game is still more iconic and funner to play and has a better storyline

I don't know why it took so long to realize but back in Security Breach Vanny past Freddy in the charge station near day care and Gregory saw him but not Freddy. Now in Ruin we get the same mask and wear to avoid the emotronics. Crazy how the story just adds up.

This DLC is a big step up from security breach in general no matter how great the original is. They have their pros and cons but they actually took their time on this, this time.
Honestly? I would LOVE to visit such a giant complex in real life, as shown in the base game. It really does look pretty damn cool.
Fun fact, if you deactivated every small cleaning robot before the Bonnie Bowl section, a secret door would open and you could see broken Bonnie in the room
So wild to me how many paralells Cassy has to Elizabeth Afton. Her dad was a faz-engineer, his favorite character was Bonnie, and I also want to mention the somehow out-of-place Freddy prototype, that has a MOUTH STOMACH. Like the Funtimes. Specifically Baby. I'm not sure if all of it is inentional, or if i'm misinterpreting it, but i just find it very intresting.

Good point especially since its vannys mask like why whould it be her mask instead of a freddy version and also explain how glitchtrap would be able to take over vanny since sometimes the mask cant be taken off even if you wanted to also a good reason as to why Gregory was never trapped but it was just glitchtrap using his voice to trick cassie and the static is an indication that its glitchtrap and the matter of fact he is like a "virus"

A tip for Glitchtrap is that he spawns in when you have the mask on for about 16 seconds. Keep that in mind. Also your videos are amazing!!

There's something I find mildly amusing about the Lil Music Men climbing over the bowling ball in their way, and it's acting like it's stuck to the ground.
with the mask on it looks less scary. the makers said to make it more scary with the surrounding and ambiance yet the mask makes it less dark and removes the scary parts. the flashlight is barely used due to the mask lightening up the room quite alot. if i can play this i would look around more in both worlds :D
I love how we are still excited to see Bonnie, even though the chances aren’t quite right… But who knows, I’d wish to see him too.
This dlc has introduced some CRAZY concepts and lore into fnaf, really interested to see how theorist make sense of all this. 🤞🏼 Hoping to win a copy myself but either way loving this gameplay!
