@12:20 - they are comparing expenditure per month. How come its 40K for indian and 40L for indian living in California.the actual yoyal is some where around 4.2L and not 40L. The calculation is right. But the final total is wrong. Yuvarani didnt speak about L1 visa where employee and spouse can work.

Approximate cost of buying own house is 70 lacs in India and 3 crores in USA. So, salary should be atleast 4-5 times more; which means earning 1 crore in America is equal to earning 25 lacs in India. But average salary in USA is 60 lacs per annum which is equal to 15 lacs per annum salary in India

I live in Canada which is very similar to America. 124,000 per annum is a very big deal and can only be earned as a new earner for certain fields of employment. On an average someone with a decent education can earn around 80,000-100,000 as a beginner. That’s all. So it’s far more worthless to live away from home but we spend a. Lot of money to move from India to Canada so we end up staying in Canada for a while to get back that money and eventually it becomes our life 😭😭😭😭😭

Why you are not giving the expenses in details. If you deducted all the expenses the saving will be very meger. You can not conver in to Rupees that is not the rightway. If you are sending the money to India for Saving then the conversion will work out.
For Example, If you transfer 500$ to your parents, they can have a luxury life iincluding rent etc and save money also. Where as in $500 you can not survive. So do not compare the Cost of Living by converting.
I am right now in USA to you go to any normal hotel for a single person for one lunch it will cost minimum of $25 = 2000[approx] where as in India for in A2B or Sangeetha, it will cost only 300 maximum. For Chicago to go to a distance of 10KM it will cost you $ 2.5 where as in India for the same distance in AC bus it will cost around 100. For the same distance if you go by Uber it will cost $18-20 = Rs. 1600. If you travel in Ola or Uber, it will cost only 300 maxium in peak time.
Being one of the largest producer of Oil, Cost of Petrol in US is around 5$ for 3.87L which is equal to Rs.109.00 In India we eventhough we import the oil to the tune of 80% our average price in India is only around 102.00
If you go to Star Bucks for Coffee it cost around $2.00 = 160.00, Masala Dosai $9 = Rs. 950.
Hence, just do not compare the cost of living in US and India by converting in to Rupees.
