I've had that idea for quite awhile. Just one big Ork "rock concert" that tours the 40k galaxy destroying civilizations and eardrums aplenty.
I love the fact that it's literally been a canonical possibility since second edition.
@@aaronbosen6743I love the fact that, despite being utterly unaware of this, I made it an actual thing. Game of Rogue Trader, the Xeno Merc with the party was an Ork Rokka, which the player explained was a mixture of 'explosive expert' and 'metal/punk rocker'. The Rogue Trader proceeded to hire a bunch of his boyz to 'soften up' the audience - with a bombastic, GWAR-esque performance, mixed with actual explosives - and then blackmail major trade systems to make them go away/not perform there.
Like most really good games of Rogue Trader, it ended in hilarity, Inquisitorial sanction, and heresy. When the players importuned me to run a game of Dark Heresy after, I opened with, "So you've been told that there's a performance of Rokka Moshpitta and his Rokka Boyz scheduled in this hive. The Lord Inquisitor is most insistent that you find out who approved this, and why." This led to the first and only time that my players have ever said, "Oh thank the Emperor, it's just a mildly clever Khorne cult."
I appreciate the fact that this canonically confirms that Orks refer to the Kin as 'Stunties', just as Fantasy Orcs refer to the Dwarfs.
Are Kin like the Squats?
