I purchased my Speedy 25 new from the San Francisco LV boutique in 2006, so it’s 18 years old too :) price was $590 USD.
The Speedy’s came with two keys. Keys and lock can easily be ordered for replacement and have simple number system.

When we went to Milan by train, my Speedy B 30 carried all my necessities then some. I even stashed a water bottle plus a sandwich!

Does yours have a size stamp under the leaf leather tab? I just bought a 2002 Speedy 30 and I don’t see a size stamp. Not sure when LV implemented the size stamp.

@landalanda I have a 2002 Speedy 30. It's on the pull tab without the hole, underneath by the tip. But, most of mine is worn away, it's very faint and hard to read. It might be that yours has rubbed down enough that you can't see it.

Nope, mine is vintage from the years before they introduced the bandouliere style so it only has handles. I think that is what you're asking? :)
