Speedy B monogram is my favorite. I had a bag organizer in it but it was too bulky. I then purchased a slender organizer and now I can keep my smaller goods organized in the middle part of my bag and I still get that beautiful saggy style at the bottom and it’s flatter than with a “regular” organizer. I love love love this bag.
I wish my speedy b looked that good! I shouldn’t have used mine in the rain, but it does give the bag personality! I’m glad someone else loves this bag as much as me!! Thanks mini!! 💕

Thanks for covering the colour differences on the bag versus the strap hardware. I purchased my bag over a year ago and thought that it was extremely noticeable but I really love the bags much I decided that I would just let it go.

My Speedy B 25 in DE is my ❤️! My hardware looks good and I rotate this bag a couple times each month.
Loved this review!! I got my Monogram Speedy B25 in August 2017 and it looks a lot like yours does now😉 This is my first luxury purse and LV purchase. I got the full experience because I bought mine from the store😁 It is definitely a forever piece in my collection. I have the same amount of wear that you do. I do not use my bag when it rains and I only carry it during the Spring and Summer months. I am saving to get the Damier Ebene Speedy B25 for winter months.

I have the classic Speedy 30 in DE that I got in I want to say 2008 before the Speedy B came out. I love my classic but the versatility of that strap, just wow! I would get one in the empriente noir if I ever went that route. Thanks soooo much for sharing 💖 June
I have a 14 year old Speedy 30 that has cracked canvas right where the tabs are, annoying but not noticeable. I also have a 25 year old Speedy 25 with no cracks. Much prefer the older bags for their quality. Love the Speedy, I have 6!

Oh my gosh I felt exactly the same when I first saw the speedy B so I bought the regular speedy 25. I stuff it to the max when not in use. Going strong purchased mine 20yrs ago lol

Im really not into classic lv bags but you made me get the speedy b 25 but in de ( exchanged it from a neverfull mm which i dont get to reach at all), the leather piping on the sides chipped off a little but cant recall that i scratched it coz im really careful with my bags. The organizer that i have is too bulky for me so i end up just using it as stuffer. But i honestly wish i had it mono and then bought a speedy b 30 in de. Coz its really a very useful bag. The hardwares on my other more expensive and seasonal lv bags have better quality and feel and canvas seem thicker than my speedy b 25 and favorite mm which i added later on my collection
I got the 25 for me, but then I realized that 30 would be perfect if I want to look stylish but still carry things I do in my diaper bag, so I got the 30 to replace my diaper bag for my little one. It's totally extra, I know, but it's great!
Love this video i got the same bag in March 2017 and it was my first LV bag yours looks new my has a bit darker patina and the strap where it sits on the shoulder i noticed some wrinkles and its darker patina, the zipper and d ring hardware also noticed some discoloration which makes me kind of sad😔 i did use my bag non stop for a while but lately it has been stored in its dust bag and i did not baby it at all with my neverfull i try and be more careful because i have seen some wear and tear that i do not want on mine.

I have never used any conditioners on my LV Monogram bags, and they are nearly twenty years old. The darker the leather, the better it looks in my opinion.

I still can't get past the original speedy. My mom bought mine when she took me to Vegas in 86' I still have it and haven't yet purchased the bandouliere. I am a mono girl and not into the DE. I think Audrey ruined it for me! I wanted her bag and got it so I don't want anything else! You're making me rethink ❤

I’ve been eyeing this bag but the 30 version for a few months now. Hesitant if I wanted monogram because of the vachetta. It’s gorgeous. Do you recommend a base shaper? I use an organizer in my damier ebene speedy B (30). However, I agree it can be constricted. Great review!
I think the tabs are more noticeable because of the thinner canvas LV is using now 🙁 I have used apple Rain guard on all vachetta leather. I also use the inside pocket for the lock and key. I’ve seen most older bags have sag by leaving the lock on the tab all the time. Would it bother you, when the handles turn almost black from the oils from your hand ?

Rachel C Do you carry a lot in your purse ? I wouldn’t be able to use the 25 because I like to carry a little bit more, also I have a Pochette Métis I use when I wanna carry a smaller bag. I’m sure you will love either size .
schezelle13 I do tend to carry quite a bit. Not crazy amounts, but wallet, cosmetic bag, phone, miscellaneous items
Rachel C then I would go with the 30 . I suggest looking up the measurements of each bag then cutting a piece of paper equal to the base of each . That way you have a visual to compare .

I bought mine this April. Unfortunately, the D ring that attaches to the bandolier strap chipped on the second day that I wore for a few hours! In addition, I put the lock on the D chain and the black metal stain got on the side strap and even made a small dent on the side vachetta. All of this happened on the second time wearing the bag. I immediately took the lock off since maybe the lock was causing the chip, back stain, and the dent. :( It hasn’t gotten worse since then. Another problem that also happened within a few times wearing the bag was that the glazing on one of the handles started peeling off very lightly. I’ll probably take my bag before the one year warranty time to probably have it reglazed. I just don’t want to send my bag in for a few weeks to get it fixed right now. Mine is made in the US so the quality might not be as good as the ones made in France. I definitely noticed the quality differences in their small leather goods. Made in France or even Spain seems to be much better....

Your Speedy is in a way better condition than mine, even though mine is less than a year old. The hardware has chipped and discolored a lot more than yours, although I do have the ebene version.

Thanks to you I made up my mind and got my first lv (speedy b 25!) 🤩 but I feel like mine is already showing a ton of use; i have to admit I wasn’t too careful with it the first week (I didn’t want to baby it) and so I used it in the spanish heat and humidity and the leather started to darken almost right away, one handle a tiny bit more than the other (still haven’t been able to make it even but oh well) and also i noticed a bit of cracked leather on the handle (right where the leather meets the squared metal), it drove me a bit mad lol but definitely my bad for exposing it to 100+ degree heat for a week straight. The d rings on the side started tarnishing within the first three days, which was a bummer. It’s been a month and a few days now and I definitely try to be as careful as I can without making it a “chore” to have to do it, I feel like if I can’t enjoy it, why have it? I’m a very scattered person and it’s been a trip finding a balance between wanting to take my speedy everywhere and also “letting it rest” 😅

I know you choose the 25 because you prefer that size as a crossbody. But since you already have all canvas prints in the classic 30, why did you choose monogram for your 25 bandolier over the Damier Ebene? With the monogram there is so much more vachetta to have to take care of and I’d think a crossbody would be really useful in the winter if it’s raining. I can only get 3 speedys and have the Azur in classic so it doesn’t rub on my clothes as much but I’m having a hard time deciding which print of the other 2 to get in the classic and bandolier?
Everytime I go to LV I wanted to buy speedy b 25 and then I come out with a different bag 🤣😂🤣

Do you have any vintage bags with vachetta? If so, do you condition that vachetta? I bought a vintage bucket bag and it wasn't disclosed that the handles had some major cracks because the vachetta was really dry.

Hey Minnie, a question for you-- I've been looking into getting my first mini peekaboo preloved, either python or nappa in a non-black color with gold hardware. I love the look of the python but this would be my first exotic bag, currently doing research about the material. Nappa leather feels lovely to the touch and overall just love the style of the peekaboo.
The only python mini on the market that I could find right now is $3000 and out of my ideal budget, I'd feel a lot more comfortable staying around $2500 (though I do have the funds). I've also not been able to find any nappa mini peekaboos in excellent condition (only very good condition) with gold hardware, they all seem to be around the $1500 mark but not in good enough condition for me. I'm just rambling though, it just looks like I'm going to have to wait for the right peekaboo to come along, but I'm being so impatient because I've not bought a bag in a while. Would you recommend python or nappa? I don't recall you saying anything about exotic skins! (Would love if you talked about exotics in Minks Monday) I personally would never buy brand new exotic but preloved, yes.

I need your advice please. I have a speedy bandolier 30. Unfortunately I had put a small bottle of skin oil in my purse and the cap got loose and it spilled in the bottom of the purse and saturated the outer leather band at the bottom part. So you can see the discoloration clearly on the outside. Should I take it into the LV store and have them replace it which I know will be costly or do you have any suggestions.? Help!

Hello. Great review. I notice that your bag doesn't seem to have ANY wrinkles from the bag coming flattened like a pancake. How did you get the wrinkles out of your bag? I really don't like the look of the wrinkles in my bag. I've had it for about a week and it's been stuffed and the wrinkles are still there.

I've been drolling on this bag for a long time!! Lol but since I got the pochette metis almost 2 yrs ago I stopped myself for a while. Then my sweet husband got me one for Christmas just last week as a surprise and he chose the monogram but with 2 kids im very scared to use it. Its still in the dust bag and contemplating exchanging it for a damier ebene since its carefree. But I do love the look of mono better and softer leather. I would apprecite any advice or opinion! I wonder if the tabs near the zipper are more noticeable on the outside because the newer canvas is thinner than the older canvas. Just a thought……
I got my speedyb25 in de at the end of 2016. The hardware chipped early on and the clasps on the strap along with the lock constantly tarnish which makes the hardware color difference more noticeable. I have to remove the tarnish regularly.

It sucks but I still love the bag. I carry 4-5 days a week and the leather and canvas are great.
What do you use to remove the tarnish?
Torn between this and the Rivoli PM....love the classic look of the Speedy but think the Rivoli looks just a bit more refined.
Wendy Mcdowell : I have both but I use the Rivoli more on a daily basis. I find it sits better as a crossbody

It is tbe perfect everyday bag...plus love the fact it basically has the same Speedy handle design. Think I've made my choice--thank you for the comment!
