I have watched Dave since I was in High School. Back in the mid 80's we went to NYC for 2 weeks and went to a taping of the show. It was great to meet someone you admire so much.

To Americans "Boxing Day" is basically the "Black Friday" discount sales day in Canada, U.K., Australia and i think Ireland too.

Boxing Day began as the day when you give your servants the day off and give away your Christmas leftovers and excess goods to those in need. Aliens? Pilgrims? The Statue of Liberty … in Canada? No wonder Paul’s special never became a classic!
Also, his hat was wayyyyy too small. We wear our Boxing Day hats over our eyes.
I think that makes it a classic

He lookes so much better without beard! What is this beard thing! Please get rid of it! I can't take it anymore! Maybe we can get Seinfeld or Will Ferrell to shave it off of him?
this clip is from 20 years ago however if I was Dave (ha) I would trim the beard much shorter, I believe it would look a lot better.
