As an aesthetician I agree, it's essentially latex masks, I can find those on pretty decent prices. Thing is, I hate latex masks, I don't find they do anything for me personally. edit:My bad, I looked it up a bit and saw it's Algea, but I'm pretty sure latex will have the same result, except if you are allergic on one of them or even both.
As a korean I'm shocked it costs anything in an spa because it's usually just a thrown in free kind of thing. Also mediheal doesn't want you to know this but modeling masks are much cheaper bought in bulk packing(1kg about 12dollars) so this all could have been about 10 cents Modeling masks also actually have no other benefits besides cooling and soothing so no need to pay extra for a fancy one.
Some mask and modelling mask are quite expensive because of Brand name, clinical study, different lab tests while Brand X is cheaper because of less lab tests. Most of them are less effective. Id rather buy quite expensive for better result, safety.

No one is gatekeeping nothing…Even the most famous, rich celebrities get breakouts once in a while and succumb to wrinkles and aging… Just use whatever readily available as long as they’re non toxic and clean, you’re good to go…

Does Hot or Warm Water Open Your Pores? Because your pores can't open or close, this idea is a myth. However, there are benefits to using warm water in your skincare. Although pores can't change in size, they can become clogged and even stretched with things like oil, dead skin cells, and dirt.
You're so right, in the US bottled water is actually way less regulated than tap water. Bottled water distributors only need to be checked once a year and even then it's not as much as tap water, which gets tested several times a month.
In South East Asia, at least where I live, the tap water is not that clean. I'm from Bali and the water here is clean but it is still not safe for consumption like in the US or Canada. But it's even worse in remote places. Where I'm studying for uni rn, there's literally dirt in the water. You can use a water filter but still, better be safe than sorry.

Exactly, anyone who says that knows nothing about skin pores. They are not stomata, they don't open and close
I think they mean they just get larger with heat
