Seriously I didn't realize this was so common I've only ever seen 1 other person with this problem. I don't know if I have it either but I have literally plucked my lashes till I was crying and plucked my eyebrows till they were half gone. Idk why but I just have the urge to pluck things especially if they're bothering me like a lash in the way or for some reason my brow not feeling smooth?? Idk. I use clear mascara to keep at least my lashes from bothering me and if I do attack them it only removes the mascara.
It’s okay:) I’ve had it since I was a kid. I’m 23 now literally trying to grow my lashes out right now once again. If you do it’s okay, it does get annoying when I wanna wear makeup though and can’t lol. The only thing I still struggle with is the people. It bothers me yeah, but it bothers me more that people can see it. Thank god I have shitty eyesight. I use my glasses to kinda shield it. But fake ones work too:) of course you can always buy the really natural looking, or big lashes to cover. For long term helping, I would maybe suggest therapy. Mine stems from trauma, not everyone’s does of course. But maybe that would help too. Also, sorry one more thing. Finding a hobby to kind of keep your hands busy. Painting, crocheting…. Pretty much anything that’ll keep your hands moving while doing nothing.
Ive had the same thing for almost 10 years now, I'm 21. I ony pull from my scalp, mainly the part line where balding spots are most visible. It had always ruined my self confidence because of the bald patches and curly regrowth but ive learned to accept it and I'm so glad to find someone to relate to! Your beauty doesnt depend on your hair, anywhere, and you are doing an amazing job.
same! I've had trich since I was around 8 and I'm now 19, so it's been 11 years. I also pull mostly at the top of my head (though I do have other spots) and I had a bald spot thefe when I was around 12. I pull hair everywhere except my legs and mostly pick out hairs that are "abnormal" in my mind (thick, curly, rough, black, etc.). it's hard and I've been self conscious about it for the longest time, but I'm so glad people are talking about 🙏
She stated that it helped her grow her lashes not stopped it from pulling them. Maybe the motivation to see if they serious would work she stopped pulling.
Absolutely not. I have the same problem. I currently use lash serum. And this product looks awesome. No it doesn’t help with the pulling, but with trich, you gets sperts of being fine then going back. The serum helps me. Wanting to see the end product of full beautiful lashes and being able to wear makeup like a normal women. Plus I don’t really think it’s a cash grab if she also has the problem? If she didn’t, and claimed it would help people with trich, then yeah. But she didn’t say that. She stated she had trich, and it’s helped her without all the harsh chemicals.
That's not the point. She never said it stops you from pulling, though oil does make it more difficult to pull, it's for regrowing after your hair pulling has been lessened or stopped.
I have this also and it has been a very hard journey for me. I pull out my lashes and used to pull out my hair I’ve gotten so much better about it but every once in a while I go back to it. Talking to someone hasn’t help me and I haven’t been tell someone everything so I’m still not healed. I need this
Pulled out my hair from the second grade till today, hate it so much and I can’t seem to stop. However, lately I’ve been doing protective hairstyles and tying a head wrap just to refrain from pulling my hair and leaving bald spots
@@My-account24 There’s some good forums online for people with Trich that have been helpful for me. There are some things to consider, the root of the disorder which is generally high stress and anxiety, and the obsessive nature of the hair pulling. Tackling the anxiety generally reduces the hair pulling, but won’t stop that compulsive behavior of pulling it out. That’s where “weird”solutions come in, gloves, fidget toys, hats, shower caps, finger cuffs, etc can be useful for some.
this isn’t going to prevent you from pulling your lashes. it just helps condition the ones you have. i looked up the ingredient list for this and the #1 listed is castor oil…women have been using this on their hair and lashes for eons
You're beautiful, take care of yourself cause nobody else will ❤ you are way more worth it than any of your troubles, or that stupid hair picking. I know it feels "good" but it won't relieve anything anyway. Try to persist I know you can make it

Thricotillomania is honestly the hardest thing I struggle with. Mine isn't even just lashes and eyebrows it is everything that is classified as a hair. It can be from depression, anxiety, an unbreaking habit it is honestly a mental disorder all of its own, not just ocd. I applaud you for healing enough to stop the pull.
um sorry to ask but what is thricotillomania becuz I think I also have it as I pull my hair and my eyelashes and sometimes my eyebrows and my arm hair I don't know why but I know tat I don't have OCD Google didn't really help me so could u explain to me please😢😢
It is not actually ocd. Yes ocd can have it however I am much like you, not ocd. It is also just called the Hair Pulling Disorder. If u pull from your lashes, brow, scalp, chin, or well anywhere on the body with hair in reality then thricotillomania is the most probable diagnosis that a psychologist/psychiatrist can give you. It can be a symptom for something larger (ocd, anxiety, depression, etc.) but it can also be just a habit that got out of hand. For best info it would be best to talk to either your doctor or a therapist/psychiatrist to get a proper diagnosis so that you can make educated decisions for your mental health.
I’m so happy for you! You put your disability that many others have that is hard to fix and found something to save them and you!❤ keep you the work girl!!!
i use to have the same issue :( i was able to force myself to stop after i ended up pulling out half of my lashes on my left eye. it was a super hard habit to beat! i still will catch myself trying to pull at my lashes and eye brows.
I have ocd n somtimes I do it I combat it by using fidgets so when I wanna pick i don't overall it's about replacing habits with new safer ones maybe try some pickit fidgets it might help :3 ♡
It used to be classed within the OCD spectrum but now it's listed as being an impulse control disorder. Everyone's exact motivations for pulling may be different, but the most important things to note are that there is a persistent urge to pull, and relief following pulling (often followed by guilt of having pulled). Some people pull because they're focusing on certain hairs or textures, and this may be obsessive. Others may pull more for the sensation of pulling. I was misdiagnosed with OCD due to the trich as well as being autistic. For me trich is primarily very sensory related, and I've had it since I was 8. Severity differs a lot between people as well, so while I am completely bald from from it (wearing wig in profile pic), and also pull my lashes and more recently my eyebrows too, some people may not have it to this extent, but it's actually a more common disorder than people realise, because it doesn't have to be super severe. If in addition to what I said at the start, it makes YOU feel bad and guilty for doing it, and it impacts your confidence and makes you feel insecure or impacts other areas of your life, then there is a chance that you have it. It doesn't necessarily have to be related to OCD specifically but comorbidities are common. As I said, I'm autistic, but I also have generalised anxiety disorder, but not OCD.
Normally I just use my finger and rug it right at the root of my lashes, but from the top. (Very important) Then wipe off excess. I also recommend wearing it to bed so you won't really notice it
I do not have OCD, but my mom and brother do, and I have ADHD and anxiety, and it definitely has caused me to pick all my eyelashes out and eyebrows ever since 3rd grade, and I have been struggling because it is sort of an addiction issue, and I talked to my mom about it (she suffers too) and she said she will talk to my doctor! I'm so glad someone has been mentioning these things because I never see anyone with half a row of eyelashes. You are such a lifesaver and someone who I can finally relate to! Thank you so much!😊
I used to have this disorder I would pull chunks from my head I had to sleep with a bandanna on for 5 months then I managed to stop I keep my hair short and clean
I have had trichotillomania since I was little I used to pull out my hair on my head as well as my eyelashes and eyebrows but as I've got older I've noticed it's gotten better I no longer pull out my head hair my eyelashes or my eyebrows instead I only pull my leg hairs which in my opinion that's a significant improvement

I still deal with my trichotillomania, but it used to be a lot worse when i was younger. For a while, i didn't have eyelashes or eyebrows. And i didn't want to cut the parts of my hair that were still long, so i had a patchy balding mullet look going on there for a while. Lol. At least now I'm not afraid of living with a bad haircut.

I was eyelashless for around 5 years till I becabe 16 and was saved from my household. I grew all my lashes back even tho the doctor said they wouldn't along with my eyebrows. And now I just want them to get stronger. Stronger and healthier as they are so weak from being pulled on for more than 7 years.

It’s nice to see this talked about. I suffered terribly as a child I remember my parents being so mad at me for pulling out my eyebrows eyelashes and then hair. Started around 6 yrs old. I eventually stopped because I got yelled at everytime they could tell I’d done it. I was so unaware I was even doing it for ages which was the hardest part. I don’t do it now although I have the urge. I tend to pick my skin and I bite my lips even through the blood. It’s such an odd compulsion. You’ve come on such a journey and I’m so delighted for you. It’s one of the side effects, which are quite common. Also, because serums that contain PGAS(prostaglandin analogs) cause the fat around your eye to shrink.
no i do that too those are lashes that would have shed anyway so it’s fine. what she is talking about is a disorder. it feels like a compulsion like you can’t control it or stop even though you know it’s bad. trichotillomania is with the hair dermotollomania is with the skin and picking it. sorry for bad spelling my phone is broken it’s wonky
Trichotillomania is a form of OCD. It's a compulsion to pull the hair out. I have dermatillomania it's also a form of OCD but it's body focused repetitive picking rather than plucking. Pulling out hairs occasionally generally wouldn't be trich or derm.
If your intentally pulling hairs, then you might have trichotillomania. Usually hair pulling isn't considered trichotillomania unless you start to have patches of missing hair from pulling it out and most people feel a sense of calm when pulling hair, and a deep urge to do so. If your eyebrows are naturally shedding and your not intentionally pulling them, then i would say you don't have trich but I dont know you nor am i doctor. I would recommend looking more into it if you are concerned. It's a lot more common than people realize
@@micalacady3921 I agree. I will say that I only have OCD and I have put little bald patches in my brows before. Medication and learned OCD coping methods helped immensely! It’s just oil women have been oiling (hair and lashes) for centuries and guess what no side effects 😱 this is not ground breaking but glad companies are going more traditional and healthy routes 🙏🏼😅
Except castor oil is known for causing miscarriages and premature labor if it gets absorbed into the bloodstream of pregnant women
@@malloryknox6802 castor oil can be used to induce labor when INGESTED in sufficient amount. This is being studied for inducing pregnancies past their due date, but as of yet, it's still scientifically unproven to work due to insufficient data.
So your scaremongering is just that. Using castor oil externally has never been proven to cause miscarriages or anything like that.
I dare you to post studies proving your claim.
I have this disorder, and I am truly just happy to see someone else who understands! I feel like I never meet anyone with trich, thank you for sharimg your journey!
I was pucking my eyebrows while watching this and now i am worried that i have this because i have been doing this more than a year ☠️😭😭😭😭😭
(Edit: i know i should control myself but every time i open yt and my notification shows this comment when someone likes it i just remove my hand from my eyebrows probably saved like 10 eyebrows till now)
there’s a difference to u plucking ur eyebrows and pulling ur eyebrows and eyelashes and hair out bcs of a mental disorder..
You should make a hair serum for tricotilomania! I know some people that pull out their hair and i know that they would love it!
I am one of those people that only pulls out my hair and you are right I need this 💗
No serum will work if they don't stop pulling
Ive had the same thing for almost 10 years now, I'm 21. I ony pull from my scalp, mainly the part line where balding spots are most visible. It had always ruined my self confidence because of the bald patches and curly regrowth but ive learned to accept it and I'm so glad to find someone to relate to! Your beauty doesnt depend on your hair, anywhere, and you are doing an amazing job.
Same
Same
same! I've had trich since I was around 8 and I'm now 19, so it's been 11 years. I also pull mostly at the top of my head (though I do have other spots) and I had a bald spot thefe when I was around 12. I pull hair everywhere except my legs and mostly pick out hairs that are "abnormal" in my mind (thick, curly, rough, black, etc.).
it's hard and I've been self conscious about it for the longest time, but I'm so glad people are talking about 🙏
Please treat the cause and find healing ❤ that must feel great to live well 😌 We all deserve it
Sophie Foster needs this. iykyk 😂
OMG KOTLC REFRENCEEE
I KNEW SOMEONE WOULD COMMENT IT😭👏🏻 KOTLC FANS ASSEMBLE
I WAS LOOKING FOR THIS COMMENT
OMG YES
If you pull out your lashes, having a serum won't help. This seems like a cashgrap if anything.
Maybe she used to and now she doesn't but lashes take time to grow and she just made a lashes serum
She stated that it helped her grow her lashes not stopped it from pulling them. Maybe the motivation to see if they serious would work she stopped pulling.
this is obviously for people who arent actively removing the hair hahahaha
I need ideas on how to stop do you have any that would help me
@@My-account24 There’s some good forums online for people with Trich that have been helpful for me.
Try to persist I know you can make it
My handicapped 11 yr old girl does the hair pulling apart from this product which is really hard to get do you have any suggestions or strategies that can help her
I just redirected my hair pulling to my arms and legs where nobody notices it. I wish there were more resources to help
a girl at my job got acrylic nails but i don’t think that is very convenient or safe for an 11 year old
I use fidget toys and it helped me. U have to try several to find the most relaxing for her
This won’t keep her from pulling hair. Try fidget toys to redirect the behavior.
She needs something to keep her hands occupied. There are toys that do something similar where you pick beads out of a plastic mold and stuff like that. Or maybe she can pick up weaving plastic into lanyards or making bead keychains. I got really good at making lanyards growing up and it really helped me
Thricotillomania is honestly the hardest thing I struggle with.
@@lumigo9504 thx
Omg sameeeeeee finally someone with the same OCD as meeeee
I’m so happy for you! You put your disability that many others have that is hard to fix and found something to save them and you!❤ keep you the work girl!!!
i use to have the same issue :( i was able to force myself to stop after i ended up pulling out half of my lashes on my left eye. it was a super hard habit to beat! i still will catch myself trying to pull at my lashes and eye brows.
This is Ocd? I've been pulling my lashes out for the past 2 years and I just can't seem to stop, I've been to 2 doctors without answer, wow! 😮
Its called trichotillomania and can be linked to ocd ! Hope this can help
Yh they already know that's why they surprised cuz they js said in video. Ur help is not needed@@pipthecow
I have ocd n somtimes I do it I combat it by using fidgets so when I wanna pick i don't overall it's about replacing habits with new safer ones maybe try some pickit fidgets it might help :3 ♡
It's not necessarily due to OCD. For example I have it due to my generalised anxiety
How do u keep lash oil from getting into ur eye and irritate it, fuzzy vision and all.. 😟
Normally I just use my finger and rug it right at the root of my lashes, but from the top. (Very important) Then wipe off excess. I also recommend wearing it to bed so you won't really notice it
Omg, I’m so glad someone talked about this and has found a way to fix it, I need to get this lash oil, I now realize there’s a high chance I have OCD
Thank you so much!😊
I hope this helps mine…, I also deal with this issue and have bald spots as well as lashes that grow towards the eyes
can i also use it when i dont have ocd?
I used to have this disorder I would pull chunks from my head I had to sleep with a bandanna on for 5 months then I managed to stop I keep my hair short and clean
Is it certified?
If it wasn't would she sell it?
@@KiaraJakabovathere’s a lot of products that can be sold without being certified. Just cuz they claim to be it doesn’t mean they are.
I wouldn't use oil near my eyes tbh
I have had trichotillomania since I was little I used to pull out my hair on my head as well as my eyelashes and eyebrows but as I've got older I've noticed it's gotten better I no longer pull out my head hair my eyelashes or my eyebrows instead I only pull my leg hairs which in my opinion that's a significant improvement
i spell the isobel in my name the same as you!! don’t see it often. ❤
You should make an app. I don’t like the thought of putting my card information into an open browser. Just a tip and sometimes it gives the people an idea that it’s not real or not legit. This is something to think about for sure.
Temu has an app and that’s how they steal all your data 😂
Huh? This is literally just like any other online shop..
as a developer it doesn’t make a difference if it’s app or web… it’s all the same in the back-end
there is no difference lmfao
i have this problem right now and I feel so alone and to see you this video just made me so happy and made me feel notice
i have this and have always seeked for help. i wanted to know that other people had it and that i wasn’t weird. only 0.5% of the world has this disorder. i thank you for helping me realize that it does happen more than i know.
Dude, I do this too. Everyone things I'm weird. Thank you so much for producing something that can help with keeping the lashes long and strong while struggling through this
As someone who's lashes fell out from damage from heat curling and pulling mascara from them, im so glad people actually put their love and care into helping other people who need it
i don’t have this disorder, but as a lover of chemistry and all sciences, i absolutely love that you harnessed your skill and personal experiences to help others in the world who struggle like you. absolutely incredible work, i’m so proud of you! ❤️
So proud of you girll
I be pulling my lashes then stop myself because baddies don’t pull on lashes….THEN I PULL ONE MORE AND CALL IT A DAY
I love how the design of the product is clean and simple

im recovering from trich thank you for talking about it. i felt so alone during that time and it really helps seeing ur not alone
So mixed castor oil and something else couse that is the only ing. That actualy help and seling it for 20$ at monimum, congrats
I've just been using plain old castor oil on my lashes, it works great and is affordable! You might get faster/better results with mixing various oils but honestly I'm lazy and just castor oil alone works fine for me lol.
Sophie Foster needs this stuff 😅🤣
THATS WHAT I WAS THINKING

OMG I THOUGHT THAT RIGHT WHEN SHE MENTIONED PULLING OUT LASHES
Seriously how does that girl have any eyelashes left

Save one for me!! I was in an abus*ve house hold as a little kid, and it showed when I couldn't stop pulling out my lashes.
I didn't know much about this disorder or your product, but thanks to this reel I'm aware of it now! so happy for you and your business, I'm sure you're helping lots of people out there!
It's giving shein vs lulu, there's a clear winner

ive never had a creater respond before! ❤
Congrats! Never stop believing in yourself!
I do this to my split ends when I'm anxious, I hate it. So happy you were able to create a solution to the results of this disorder. You should be so proud. Just pride. Don't even know you and I'm proud of you. So good to see another person doing well. Wishing you nothing but success
I am off to try your serum! ♥️
I didn’t know this was a condition I did the same thing for years
I’m gonna try this soon
Thanks
Were you going into the sun after applying lash oil? Or are you allergic
Its usually used during night time and if you have alergies you read ingredients list
That’s me too! I always do it when my mascara is clumpy!
Omg what?
Maybe that's why I have dark circles!😱
WAITTT I NEED THIS OMG PLEASE
I always thought I was alone, it’s refreshing to know that I wasn’t the only one struggling.
I’ve had TTM for about 9 years now, like almost all these comment, it feels unreal and it makes me so happy that I’m not alone in such a painful journey. TTM isn’t really physically painful but it leaves mental scars if you’ve had it for a long time. My TTM has recently gotten worse where I actually pulled out my entire side shave.
To everyone who has TTM, never give up!❤
I know the journey is rough but you’ll make it

I need this product I also pull all the time more in school I will pull at them
Just buy some castor oil, works just as well and is way more affordable. I apply each night with a qtip or a clean mascara brush :)
I have really bad ocd too, along tic disorder and skin picking disorder and adhd. I am deeply proud of how you managed to deal with this terrifying disorder and still save your business. I still have my life pretty messy rn, but truly, you're an inspiration ❤
I didn't know this was an ocd thing, (not self diagnosing) I do the same thing though. I think for me it's more an anxiety thing but I appreciate how you've helped yourself and others!
I was pulling my lash hair out just before watching this.
Yall be having stocks ?👁️👄👁️
Good question😂
I have that habit but I never thought it was a disorder
i have it too, its the worst thing disorder ever, ive never heard people talk abt it online and it feels good
...pulling your eyebrows isn't normal?

@dariadarusiadaria she mentioned both in the beginning of the video ☺️

Usually not, its ok if its not often, if its often then it can be harmfull to you
Yeah, I do that when Im stressed out, we don't call it a disorder. Just being stressed is the cause
Yeah I have that disorder as well, it was to the point where there were like bald spots on my eyebrows from plucking them. I still do it but not as bad as I was before. Tyyyy❤
A business owner on CZcams actually showing themselves using a proper filling machine and gloves is impressing me way too much 💀😭 Idk anything about this product but a small online business caring about a sanitary production process is very important to me.

i’m sick of influencers lying. you clearly got a lash lift and people fall for it. there is some growth from the missing eyelashes but you had a lash lift after they’ve grown.
They grew back because of help using the oil? But ok
I have that too but it's my hair not eyelashes. Thanks for talking about it. It makes me feel less weird and alone ❤
omg thank you! i have no eyelashes any more and people always just told me it was a bad habbit but I just knew it was more than that. I can't say thank you enough! + I have tried so many lash serums but I would always get so red! im gonna go buy it now
How are you getting dark circles from lash serums?
It’s one of the side effects, which are quite common. Also, because serums that contain PGAS(prostaglandin analogs) cause the fat around your eye to shrink.
Serums can also cause the eyes to appear sunken in. And I'm not sure how reversible that is
Wait wait , i can pull my eyebrows too and a good amount of them come out, does that mean i have the same issue?
no i do that too those are lashes that would have shed anyway so it’s fine. what she is talking about is a disorder. it feels like a compulsion like you can’t control it or stop even though you know it’s bad. trichotillomania is with the hair dermotollomania is with the skin and picking it.
sorry for bad spelling my phone is broken it’s wonky
Trichotillomania is a form of OCD. It's a compulsion to pull the hair out. I have dermatillomania it's also a form of OCD but it's body focused repetitive picking rather than plucking. Pulling out hairs occasionally generally wouldn't be trich or derm.
I do that from OCD, maybe try getting evaluated for that?
It could be a lot of things so if you look into it don’t be discouraged if it is or isn’t that. There are a LOT of possibilities.
please I thought I was the only one who had this disorder and now I feel more confident
i get this occasionally when i am bored or stressed , it just helps me relieve my anxiety tho. the thing is i love to wear mascara so i don't let it get too far to the point where there are numerous bald spots. thanks so much for sharing !
I had this disorder. My friend used to do it with her eye brows. Gets so sore
