Ed Cycles West Orange Trail

S2E7. The West Orange Trail is approximately 22.4 miles in length and is located in western Orange County, west of the city of Orlando. This beautiful suburban trail goes through the cities of Oakland, Winter Garden, Ocoee and Apopka. Ride along with Ed as he explores the Oakland Nature Preserve, the Plant Street Market, the Winter Garden Farmer's Market, the Central Florida Railroad Museum and the Avian Reconditioning Center. Florida Coast to Coast riders will find useful information, not only for the visuals of the trail itself (a part of the C2C route), but Ed also points out the Edgewater hotel in Winter Garden and the location of the spur trail that gets you going in the right direction through the Orlando Gap. You probably know this but at the end of Lulu Creek Trail if you go west(left) a quarter mile to surprise drive and then North(right) two blocks you're at Newton Park and the Lake Apopka pier.
