Personally i think Jiu is so so funny.. Her jokes doesn't always catch on by the other members but she is never giving up... you have to give her that... lol... She makes me laugh... Happy birthday tomorrow Jiu!
All other gg leaders are like moms to their group members. Here comes Jiu, the dad AND mom figure. DC are truely unique.
Also occasionally the kid figure to live up to her reputation of fake maknae. She's the full family package in one 😁
She can afford to be like that, DC has so many moms... SuA for chores and discipline, GaHyeon, for being the bossy mom, DaMi being the "let's get back down to Earth" mom... there's no shortage of moms! But one thing is for sure, mom or not, she's the best leader I've ever seen in a group... She's a big part of DK's success.

@@electrictroy2010 you reply almost the same thing to every comment here. If you really know Deukae, you will see just how much they love and care for Jiu. She cares for them and is just lovely and positive, but of course not everyone has the same sense of humor. I don't laugh at every single joke my friends and family make, and if we're really close I would even ignore them the way the members do to Jiu.
@@electrictroy2010 I doubt they really hate her. It's just that eye rolls and displays of annoyance are a common reaction towards lame jokes like puns...all good natured play between friends. Does not mean they dislike her, which we can see from the amount of care and appreciation they shower her during other interactions...so don't worry about it too much

@@electrictroy2010 you do know they love everyone in the group right? Gahyeon is the boss baby of Deukae, so she gets away with all sorts of stuff with the members but she's not rude. The leader and maknae of every group has a special bond, and the same goes for Jiu and Gahyeon. We don't fully understand the dynamics they have, and as fans we may never know, so don't judge them too quickly.

JiU has already taken everyone over a cliff 😂🤣😂🤣 just have to let it crash and start again. Also funny that the one time JiU immediately apologizes is when she uses SiYeons name to make a pun. Yoohyeon actually ends up giving the best reactions cuz she cringes so hard and resists the dad jokes with all her being. SuA always looks like shes regretting her life choices when the puns come but she freezes up in Korean word games sometimes so might just be genuinely unsure about what is supposed to be funny.

For anyone confused abt whats so funny abt it, lemme quickly explain.
So in Korean whenever you make a suggestion to do something like," wanna eat ramen?" You use
해 볼까? (Hae bolkka?) form. So JiU asked members if they wanted to sing karaoke. So that would be "Noraebang Hae bolkka?" But she replaced the Bolkka with BOCA. So she punnily asked them if they wanted to sing Boca😁

Happy Jiu day! I love how mischievous Jiu looks when she gets ready to tell a joke or a pun, like you can see her eyes sparkle because she knows its gonna be good. The best part is that no one else thinks it's clever but her and she enjoys telling it so much on her own. The way she just laughs at herself afterwards, no matter how her members react haha. It's cute how the members didn't like it in the beginning, but now it feels like they've warmed up to it a lot (to the point that they even make puns quite often too haha). This is definitely one of my favorite things about Jiu. Thank you insomnicsy for all your hard work as usual! :)
