before you go trying to find shorts in the machine, replace that breaker, they can become weaker over time and trip without actually being overloaded or shorted. ive seen it many times and its usually after a period of time they will trip

We have already diagnosed it, that was one of our first tests!

My oldest Kitchen Aid is a Hobart, but looks just like the classic. Is a K45SS . I haven't heard before what Hobart means. Thank you.

I love my N-50, super quiet vs. my other Kitchenaid. I can make butter anytime because you barely notice while it's running. The only bad thing is the size, which should be 8 qt so I can make more bread or cookie dough. Highly recommended to anyone really serious about baking at home, better results compared to other mixers. Kind of weird, but I can actually taste the difference specially on cookies when using this mixer. I am interested in getting a SS upgraded spiral dough from The Netherlands.

I got a great deal on my N-50. it was around $300, no attachments or bowl. I paid another $200 for the bowl, beater, whisk, and dough hook.

LOVE Hobart! Too bad they sold off. Quality went down so much.

I read the specs of the N-40 and it seems to be the same power as a K5-A. What is the appeal? Durability?

Wattage ratings are kind of a bad way to look at things when it comes to electron is because they are skewed. It's incredibly durable, the capacity is the same but theyre legitimately bullet proof! Mostly meant for commercial use
