At that moment you could really feel that the engine had a bit more power than usual because it spun the wheels a lot more than normally. It is quite common that engines put out more power just before they blow up, which also was the case here.

not exactly no, probably 1200-1250kg without driver I guess
wenigstens noch ne Bestzeit(?) vor dem Motorplatzer, baust du den Clio wieder auf?
