- Hi everyone, how are you? In this video, I show you bits and pieces about our trip to Vaishno Devi. We stayed in Katra for 2 nights in The Fern Residency. We paid Rs 6700 for 2 nights (Including breakfast). This hotel provides shuttle service to get your RFID card and to Ban Ganga from where you begin your yatra. You will first have to get online Parchi Yatra from www.maavaishno... We took parchi yatra two days before our yatra day.
RFID card (free of cost) is mandatory for all pilgirms going to Vaishno Devi Yatra. Failing which you will have to pay some fine.There are five ways to reach Bhawan from Ban GangaWalking: You can trek all the way up to Bhawan. It's a 15 km trek with mild and steep inclines. I would recommend you take a new route i.e Himkoti from Adhkuwari in case you wish to walk all the way up.Horses: The official board mentions rate cards, and you don't need to negotiate or bargain further. From Ban Ganga to Bhawan, one side's current horse rates are Rs 1100.Palkhi: The cost of Palkhi for one adult from Ban Ganga to Bhawan is Rs 3450 (old route) and Rs 2850 (new route)Helicopter: If you wish to take Helicopter or Battery cars, you will have to book it at least 2 months in advance. The cost of Helicopter one side i.e Katra to SanjhiChatt is Rs 1800.Battery Cars: Battery Cars run from Adhkuwari to Bhawan and cost Rs 350 per person. It is recommended you book battery cars online as offline slots are subject to availability and luck.

Hi, as a full time staff member at Mata vaishnodevi and I have watched all of your vlogs, let me clarify you
As you said at 14:00 that road is very congested duty to pony and palkis, the shrine board had already constructed a different track which is diverted from banganga and directly joined at Adhkuwari at a point where himkoti track starts from Adhkuwari (just 100 steps away from EV point) and that track is only for yartris no ponys are allowed on that track there are many points on that track like Langar, hospital, Mc Donald's, bikaner,verka so on. And that track is more in width than the banganga track. So, when u'll plan yatra again in future I suggest you come from that side The only drawback of this tract is it is 1 km more than the old one, and has food points at a distance of 300-500 meters.

Mera bi 3 years se late hai last year 2023 me Ticket bi ho gai but jinke sath jana voh nhi gaye chalo jitna late sahi otna hi badia yatra hota sai ji khete hai sharda or saburi 😍😍 Es bar ticket 7 months phele booked hai
My first visit to Vaishno Devi was in 1964. Obviously,there were hardly any facilities for the yatris. We would walk all the way up and down the Katra- Vaishno Devi Guffa. People would look down upon yatris, who would take ponies for the journey. Things changed in 1986 once Jagmohan created a Trust. During my school-college days, we would go up in 4-5 hours. Surprised that young people prefer to take shortcuts like EV or helicopter etc.

Di their is a new route tarakote which starts from different area it does not starts from baanganga but if u will ask auto people or car drivers they will drop u their it's really good route which ends on ardhkawari where indraprastha bhojnanalaya is situtaed and at that route no ponies and horses are their it's really peacefull and also a langar is organised after 4km of walk...next time plz try that

जय माता दि मै मेरी बडी बहन ९२ मे गये थे . उस वक्त पाणी और टॅायलेट व्यवस्था अच्छी थी, अभी तो बहोत डेवलप हुआ हे . यंग थे तो १४ किलोमीटर चलके गये और दर्शन करने बाद तुरंत नीचे आने लगे नोवंबर था स्वेटर नही पहने और रात मे पहाड के मंकी १५/२० झुंड मे आते हे , बहोत डरावना था पर माता राणी ने हमारी रक्षा की . जय माता दी
