- Yolanda Renee King, the only grandchild of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King, reflects on her family's legacy in her first children's book, "We Dream a World." The 15-year-old joins "CBS Mornings" to share her hopes for the younger generation and what she would say to her grandparents today.

My heart was overwhelmed by this little girl, this little lady. I wanted to come through the television and cry on her shoulder because I appreciate her so much. She is the manifestation and fruit, (which is his own), of Dr. Kings dream. I wish desperately that I could tell her how much she is needed and loved. She reminds me of a young Bernice King who was equally as vocal, dedicated and love filled at the same age and went on to be the great orator, minister and lady of God she is now..AMEN..SELAH!

Man that’s a lot of pressure on her shoulders regardless of how much her family might’ve told her otherwise. She’s the only grandchild. Every life decision she makes is literally generational.
