And this is why I am surprised Tom Cruise has never won an Oscar. The guy does his own stunts and puts a ton of work into his craft. He may not be the most likeable guy outside of the stage, but without a doubt, he works his ass off to give an excellent performance, from Collateral to Tropic Thunder to Mission Impossible. He brings his A-game to EVERY performance.
I would. I doubt they put multi-million dollar air force jets into the hands of civilian amateur pilots.

Can't be a sonic boom because of the viewpoint. If it were, you'd hear nothing until the aircrafts are past the point where you at. What we see here is just low pressure air mixing with high pressure air and a high humidity making air visible, aka. Wing Vapor wich can also occur on the fuselage.
Third viewing last night. Breathtaking, funny, sad, bittersweet, romantic, triumphant. Safe for wives and kids. They'll love it too...bring plenty of tissues!

Just remember that the F-14 Tomcat went out of service in 2005. The F-18 Superhornet is what the Navy uses now and eventually the F-35 Lightning II when enough planes are made.

Tom cruise is not actually flying the fighter jets like so many people think. He does pilot some other planes but he is not flying the fighter jets. Paramount confirmed this a year or so back that Tom would fly “certain” aircraft, he is not flying the F/A 18. Also civilians are not aloud to use military equipment, particularly multi million dollar fighter jets.
