    this is where I want cardistry to go, idk if everyone has this feeling (or if it bothers) but nowadays I feel like every single cardistry video it just a sequence of cuts, myself being not that into complicated cuts, i don't find recent videos really appealing to me, tbh I don't see any real difference in cuts anymore...
    But there, we have what cardistry really is to me: cuts, but also spreads, aerials, some things that aren't really cuts while being it at some points, displays, etc etc AND I LOVE IT
    It's a whole variety of flourishes that really makes it appealing to me, in a way it reminds me of predator's vids, where it was just a lot of different types of flourishes and that's what makes it awesome imo
    So thanks Kurtis, thanks Daniel, you've given me a lot of fun to play with on my bed for the following months :)))
    (and oh, that waterfall to gravity armspread, goddamnit that was fcking amazing dude)

    • @BenHeirbaut
      @BenHeirbaut Před 6 lety +4

      that's because this is leaning more towards xcm (fans, spreads, aerials etc..) and I guess you can indeed distinguish it from packet cutting. seems like you're more into this kind of stuff, and indeed, there is much more to explore in xcm than in packet cutting which makes this pretty interesting!

    • @aronquemarr7434
      @aronquemarr7434 Před 6 lety +1

      Thats what I thought last year but now my opinions have differed.

    • @BeckettBehel
      @BeckettBehel Před 6 lety +1

      I gave a very similar opinion. Cuts have their place, but fans, spreads, and aerials will never cease to amaze me. I'd rather be a well-rounded cardist than just simply "a packet cutter"

    • @justuschiang4710
      @justuschiang4710 Před 6 lety

      Actually, I would preceive your comment as - people're doing the same style of move.Too many 'Tobias' and 'Duy' round the world. And DanDave, Dimitri and De'vo sth have long been forgotten, even Jaspas Deck as well. Rather I'd appreciate Lotusinhand's nostalgic style!

    • @user-jj5se2is1w
      @user-jj5se2is1w Před 6 lety +1

      Baptiste Blm nah you may like that sort of stuff but to me comfy packet cuts are the real deal. I love the Oliver and Tobias style videos more than Aerials and displays

  • @davejohnson-yi2rk
    @davejohnson-yi2rk Před 6 lety

    WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Simply incredible. The production values here (Photography, Lighting, Editing & Score) are heads & shoulders above 99% of the Cardistry videos I've watched - and I guess I've watched 100s by now. There are others who have incredible skills, but their videos are marred by jarring MTV camera moves, annoying Rap music, poor composition, juvenile on-screen mugging, etc. BUT THIS MAY BE THE SINGLE BEST CARDISTRY VIDEO I'VE EVER SEEN! If you could post a few tutorials which were as good as this demo, you'd have an eternally greatfull legion of followers.
