do you have to let it sit and calibrate the gyro for very long for it to take off like that? i got one for xmas and all it does is spin around on the floor, maybe only lifting off a few inches at most :(
I will say if you try to take off slowly it will want to spin in a circle. I suggest taking off quickly and climb to about 3 feet. At that point if you notice you are still doing circles I would add trim in the opposite direction. To me it sounds like you need to practice with your new R/C helicopter. Don’t give up, keep practicing, learning is part of the fun. Before you know it you will be hovering in a room longer than when you started. I don’t see anything in the owners manual on changing channels. My only suggestion would be to make sure you have new batteries in the remote and a fully charged helicopter, then follow with the binding sequence. I demonstrated the sequence in the video and can be found at the 14min and 50seconds mark. I hope this information helps, if you recently bought or received this R/C and can’t get the remote to work I would suggest to return the helicopter for an exchange. If you follow the binding sequence as mentioned in the owners manual and in the video, the helicopter and remote should bind together. If you have followed the binding instructions and still have trouble binding the remote to the helicopter I would suggest returning your helicopter for a exchange.
