More than 50????
I was prepared to be shocked by 10. 10!!!!
To be honest, one is too much.
@@LD12121 not sure why you think owning a tool capable of defending you from danger is bad. Do you also disapprove of locks on doors and windows?

Lmao this killed me
Look how quiet that boy is as Phil teaches mom. He knows he needs boundaries! And he knows she will remain a pushover. But he is smart enough to know he needs to get straightened out.
I think maybe he’s just nervous. He’s so little and young and he’s in a room full of strangers and some guy he doesn’t even know. I’m sure he’s scared. That’s a huge stressor to a little kid. Especially one having conflicting feelings about himself and his life.
If that were true, he would've taken matters into his own hands and actually straightened himself out. I've seen kids his age be responsible and respectful on their own, beneficial to themselves and their parents, it's not that hard.
He might not be be independent, but he could choose to be better than this.

Abusive? Tf kinda drugs are you on?
Abuse isn’t just physical, jackass. What kind of lunatic has 50+ guns near a child that shows violent tendencies? That’s abuse! And neglect!
Both her and her husband would be charged if that child got a hold of those guns and shot up the school, and rightfully so
I think you’re confused and a little delusional on what neglectful and abusive means. She definitely lacks boundaries for sure, and needs to stand up for herself. But abusive? Makes me wonder how many other things you’ve come across and claimed abuse.

If you are afraid of your son becoming a future serial killer than why keep more than 50 guns in your house? If you son't want to give them up you could put them in storage somewhere outside the home.
Or just not have them AT ALL!? Just a thought!
@@bluebellcrushedvelvet Maybe be rational and realize that they, 1) Are not her property as they belonged to the deceased husband and could possibly be held in a trust or will which means they could now potentially belong to somebody else granted on that trust besides the wife 2) Might hold sentimental value as he was a firearms COLLECTOR and obviously was very into his hobby, so it can't just be as easy to her as taking them to a gun store, selling off one of the last remnants of your deceased husbands lifestyle and just heading home with a wad of cash to blow. If it was that easy she would've obviously done that. Dr. Phil was ridiculous here in that statement. Just the same way that some people collect knives, cars, comic books, and toys, yes. There are millions of avid gun collectors who collect rare and sought after firearms that are either no longer produced or are very scarce nowadays. Stop trying to continuously make gun ownership taboo. Not everybody who owns a firearm is out for blood, I say this as a proud gun owner myself.

With all these guns at home it's like she's inviting him to be a reality serial killer
Send him off to military school. That’ll get his priorities straight and learn how to respect people. It will also teach him kindness, patience, and discipline.
Sending your kids away has been proven to cause abandonment issues. Theres another way called not broadcasting this kids mental health to the world.
Doesn't military schools have guns, too?? Sure, it will straighten him up, but he might get sneaky and go after the guns. Idk...
They shouldn't be allowed to have guns or a child.
You are not wrong
I think every school should hear “video games don’t cause violence” on repeat like 50 times of full blast audio
Exactly, the kid is spoiled because of the mother , not the game
Yea I play violent video games and I don't feel like killing people in real life
Except for the boy whole shot both parents to death for taking away his Xbox and his HALO 3 game. Guess what the cops found in the front seat of the car he took off in? Phil said there’s no “research” to indicate there is a link. Not that there IS no link. It has been research with conflicting conclusions. It needs to be thoroughly studied, even more than it has been to this point. It desensitizes children and adults who play violent video games. This isn’t about taking away guns. This is about the impact video games have on growing minds. My son plays Apex and isn’t violent. A cousin of his was behaviorally normal until he became hooked on Fortnite. Something is going on and some minds are more vulnerable than others.

50 guns 😨
Typically Usa. I can understand if someone has 1-5 or even 10 weapons. Especially if he is a hunter or lives in an area where it can happen that a bear or wolf comes to visit. But 50?
If it were Canadian or Swiss, I would accept it (it would still be a bit strange) They handle weapons differently and have stricter rules. But in the USA where everyone can buy a gun in the supermarket, so to speak? I would run away.
Nah dude. It is actually pretty strict to buy a gun. They checked everything about your background. Also I never saw guns being sold at supermarkets. However, criminals and gangs can get guns illegally through black market. Also the husband is a gun collector.
Good thing that people don't need to get your permission to exercise their rights.
I live in the U.S and you can't just go to the supermarket and buy a gun. It can actually be quite difficult to acquire a gun legally here. Now guns sold on the black market is an entirely different story.
Stop trying to make gun ownership taboo.
There are guns in USA?!?! I live in Australia and guns are banned in our country. I am shocked! (Edit, I only realised until 2021)
It truly shocks me that she openly believes her child is a capable of murder and refuses to do anything proactive. Such as getting rid of weapons, bringing him to counselling. She is NOT a parent. She will be exactly like the parents of the Michigan school shooting. Young, innocent children will be killed because of irresponsibility.
Give him spankings
Good job
thats probably really hard for her since her husband just passed away. She’s going to regret not having guns to protect her self at some point, if she was a good firearm owner she would take all the precautions that is required to be a safe firearm owner (barrel locks, trigger locks , gun safe in a room that requires a lock with security cameras etc.) maybe she shouldnt let her 12 year old son play rated r games if she’s so concerned 🤷🏻♀️

Telling her to sell their guns is wrong. She can load up her car with the guns, and rent a storage unit for them.

She shouldn’t get rid of her guns thats a right she has to defend herself, hes not going to shoot up everyone he just needs to learn to be respectful and responsible
Why does his family have over 50 guns
If there’s boundaries and structure. Cut off times of games etc she wouldn’t have these problems
This small boy can do worse thing... look at his look so scary
I'll never understand why regular people are allowed to have a gun, let alone so many guns. No one needs that.
This mother is clearly not paying attention to her kid and letting him do whatever he wants without consequences. There are reasons why spoiled children become entitled rude adults. Bad parenting like this is one of them. Kids at 12 years old or younger shouldn't be playing video games like GTA, Call of Duty, Fortnite, and Skyrim. It's not a mature enough age, and it can lead to nasty behavior.
Nasty behavior needs to be spanked
Hey. Let’s not ban violent games, just don’t give violent games (which you are required by law to be 18+ to purchase) to your young impressionable child who clearly has anger issues and violent tendencies
bro is now 17,😭
She has a right to be worried
That kid lookin like in 10 years imma prove yo logics wrong…
More than fifty guns??? If he kills anybody it's cause these people live in the middle of nowhere in Kansas with fifty guns and an enabler parent to let him use them.
So if they only had 2 guns would that make the kid less likely to use them? The number of guns owned is completely irrelevant to the lack of parenting and the possibility that this kid is a sociopath. Telling people that she has over 50 guns was nothing more than a way to sensationalize the problem and get the audience to gasp.
What about desensitization?
I don't understand the obsession with guns 🙄
That's not kid fault his mom don't teach in how to play nice
That woman is just rediculous
I disagree with that. The right answer is to parent the child properly and teach them how to act around firearms. If it’s not your firearms they handle, it will be someone else’s, teach them not ignore it.
This woman lets her kid do what he wants. Stupidity with all them guns in the house
More the 50 guns that’s horrible I hope she took the guns and sold them that’s so dangerous!
I hate how video games are blamed for this…. Not video games fault it’s the parents fault period! They are the parents

I’m just saying if my son was that why to me and locked me out of the house and wouldn’t open up unless I got him Starbucks. Oh boy I would bust a window to get inside and ground him for all of eternity after smashing his games and system.

Its not that my kids are pure or they never misbehaved but when they did I punished them from the start & they stopped doing it because of the punishment. The punishment should be extreme the first time & decrease the level of punishment slowly in the speed your child starts behaving done in future they will behave & will think before doing something u don’t like cause they know it has concequense
