I agree. India must enable many more like him in politics, bureaucracy and businesses. Developing skilled technical talent is crucial, but India must also prioritize building talent in complementary domains like business, mergers & acquisitions, logistics & supply chain, national & international laws, IP & Copyrights, HR management, marketing, national & international political sciences, mass communications and other social sciences. Indian universities have a key role in equipping social science graduates with necessary skills for today's global challenges where soft skills matter greatly. By investing in comprehensive non-technical skill development, India can empower and better position its innovators to thrive globally and pave the way for a brighter future.

A few key men can lead the country towards a very promising path!

Building a thriving semiconductor industry in India still faces numerous technical and non-technical challenges. Developing skilled technical talent is crucial, but India must also prioritize building talent in complementary domains like business, mergers & acquisitions, logistics & supply chain, national & international laws, IP & Copyrights, HR management, marketing, psychology, national & international political sciences, mass communications and other social sciences. Startups show the critical need for capacity building in these areas too. Government initiatives like NEP2020 are positive, but must be complemented by rapid upskilling programs in these non-technical areas. Indian universities have a key role in equipping social science graduates with necessary skills for today's global challenges where soft skills matter greatly. By investing in comprehensive non-technical skill development, India can empower and better position its innovators to thrive globally and pave the way for a brighter future. The time to act is now.

His most important point was that there was enough for everyone in this semiconductor competition, which meant there was no need for a FOMO. Second, he asserted multiple times that India could be trusted and it wants growth for everyone in the world. Very impressed.

lol im 17yrs old now i watched politics from yt daily news since 15yrs in less than 6 months i searched up entire 75yrs of history of india and i came to conclusion that we indians have voted congress for so long that we have destroyed our nation. even if 1000s modis come as pm we cana never catch up even china forget usa .
bjp is just so much better than congress but still not as good as we need india to be from last rank to top 3.
so even tho bjp is not the best as per world lvl standards its our only hope to make india rise.
also stopping conversions of hindus to muslims and christians are the biggest obstacle for indias growth.
and im saying this very much factually based on how much news i have watched. otherwise we will become pak bangladesh if muslim becomes majoirty, and india will fall just like our neighbours.
sometimes i think its better to move to america if possible. otherwise stay indian. cuz only three countries are powerful in the long run usa india and china.

Case in point is the discussion about energy efficiency. Key point raised are - energy sources, and design aspect for power efficiency.

@@saewha India already has some level of talent in design (Intel, Cadence etc.) and new entrants like Micron and their partners setting up base in India. High end chip design is a long term strategic investment that will happen with short and medium term infrastructure initiatives.
Most countries don't have enormous excess capital, to get to high end chip design eco-system. Even if they did, that will not happen overnight.
Pragmatic business and investment strategy would be to have achievable short/medium term objectives, while kicking-off long term investment contingent upon initial successes.

The thing that the moderator is unable to understand is that India is focusing on becoming self reliant.. so that we can have leverage at the big table and shift policies in favour of India. Money and investment wont be roadblock then. This way Indian governments domestic and foreign policies will be independent.

Ashwini Vaishnav - We have very cheap and skilled labour. Industry can pay just 20k salary to Graduate Engineer. We need your tax because we have to pay 40k salary to government peon.

Genuine discussion, but it will be hard task for us in india 🇮🇳 to channelize diverted investment of west in Semi conductor industry from China to our country. The majority till date moving to Vietnam, Indonesia or even Eurore. We must take this as challenge.
