This thing will most likely get R-77s in future, when Gaijin gets ballsy enough to sell premiums with Fox-3s
I'm hoping they only give it R27ER's to offset the fact it has a Mig 21 flight model at soon to be 12.3 but don't give it R77's. Spamraams should be limited to 13.3/13.7, the AV8B is already annoying enough.

@@cookiecraze1310well AMRAAMs are just different things, R-77’s are complete shit with less range, energy and energy retention than r-24r so it won’t be OP even at 12.0
That skipping frames issue sounds like EXACTLY what I've been dealing with. I got basically nowhere on their support site basically being told it was a problem with my drivers. I went through the whole song and dance for reinstalling my drivers that the technical moderator basically defaulted to and it only solved the issue for a week max. This was an issue before Seek and Destroy and remains an issue after it. My only fix is to restart my computer, I'm guaranteed no stuttering for the first session or two after a fresh boot.
I investigated the issue and found its a spike in frame times. It was so bad before Seek and Destroy that the game was unplayable in air and a chore in ground. Since Seek and Destroy I've had another friend (with a different system config) start having the issue. Same band-aid fix works for them that works for me. I'm not going to bother with their support site ever again, its not worth it when I submit all the requested information, data, readings, etc and get dismissed as it being a driver problem when War Thunder is the ONLY game where I have these issues. Disheartening, really.

sounds like somthin ive been trying to fix, but I get the spikes if I restart my laptop, and sometimes Air was unplayable, I'm running a Ryzen 7 5000 series with Radeon graphics, so its prob my cheaper parts
its for allot of people. happens after i play a couple games, only fix for me is a complete pc restart aswell

little tips if you lock someone with the radar and then shoot an ir missile you are sure that at the time you launch the target is the plane not a flare
Well, yes, but actually no.
You keep the missile seeker pointed at the plane, but as soon as you launch it could instantly go for flares. This is very apparent with missiles with low flares resistance like the R-60(M).

@@AZ-dj1ni What I said was meant for ALL IR missiles, with the R-60M just being the missile where this is most apparent. It can happen to a R-73 too, it is just not as common.
You know what, last year i was grinding Mig29G and got stuck in mig21mf. Great plane don't get me wrong. But i spent a few months to unlock mig23. I have work so i cannot play all day. And now, to see that someone can just buy this thing is truly a sight to behold.

I’ve been having stuttering/frame drops ever since the last update. I don’t play at high graphics at all, just an i9 with integrated graphics laptop. No amount of messing with my settings has fixed it so far even dropping the quality to basically minimum
Same issue. Fat update drops, something always gets fucked up. This time its the frame stutters
The RWR is bugged, it sometimes claims that a missile is being shot at you even tho they arent even looking at you with their radar or even firing a missile
Not a bug, RWR just senses a signal, doesn't mean that signal is going for you
This probably isn't the problem, but I recall Phly had performance issues due to a bug with having a massive amount of friends in game. Not sure if it applies to you but it might be worth checking out.

My game stutters as well and I found out that it was my processor thermal throttling, not sure how much to trust speccy but that may be your issue too.

The engine is pretty good. I would say the 10.3 one is peak mig-21 10.0 is a little low

Doubt it, monitor is pretty new and hasn’t had this issue before. It seems to be happening less now for whatever reason though.

They screwed the proxy again and messed the TWS up trying to fix it.
Su27's TWS is actually balls now. Does not even update the target position, does not lock with ACM when it should, it's just scuffed
I've found that the frame skipping issue usually only happens flying air vehicles nowadays. But even with 32GB of ram, a 6 core CPU, and a 1660 ti the stuttering still comes back.

What is going on with radars just losing lock for no reason? Was grinding r77s on the mig29 and it would just randomly lose track on front aspect dudes or swap to teamates like 20km away
I have about a 5:1 K/D so far so it feels good but it doesnt have the carry potential due to only 4 missiles and the water pistol gun. Flight performance is suffering incarnate when you can fight F15s and F16s too.
5:1 k/d sounds kinda unbelieveable, even on the most op planes on air rb. Its too random to get that high kd even being one of the best pilots in the game tbh. And Bison is far from being op and suffers with matchmaking. Unless you have like 3 battles on it

Why do you always wait so long to fire your missiles? I feel like you could've gotten more success with hitting some of them if you'd just shot them from 500m further away. Is there a reason you wait until you're right on them besides that they can't flare as easily? I feel like the missiles you use are resistant enough to CM to the point where waiting so long (to where they sometimes can't even pull in time because you launch so close) is more detrimental than the possible few CM they drop when they (maybe) see the missile coming.
I'm not claiming that that's what's better, I'm definitely not as experienced in the game as you are. Just a question and my 2 cents:)
It’s just that, so they can’t flare easily. If they’re looking at me and flare right as I launch it’ll probably go for the flares. I try to avoid firing until it’s in the impossible to flare zone if I can.

The GSh-23-2 is such a dogshit cannon. It’s got shitty velocity and shitty damage. I enjoy it because it’s super satisfying when I get a kill with it but it is a terrible cannon.
Also I’ve had that 0 damage with a direct hit from a missile thing before. While I was grinding the SU27SM I was using my MiG21Bis (because it’s great and I love it) and I slammed an R60M in to a F5s cockpit at 1.2km and he just didn’t die at all. Not even a hit. I watched it explode in his face and he just survived. I was pissed.
