I just wanna say thank you so much! I watched many of your videos and I’m done now 🎉 It took me 4 years but I finally got my GED diploma 12/15/22. I’ve never been to any high school, I was born and raised somewhere in Africa. I came to America mainly for education, I’m about to apply for colleges now 🥳long story short DON’T GIVE UP ! I was able to pass all of my GED tests this summer (and all on the first try) thanks to your videos.
Now I'm currently in college on a full scholarship and am living my dream of getting into college at 17.

Since people still like/reply to this old comment, I’ll try to update it on occasion.
Current status( September 15th, 2022): I graduated valedictorian from the 2 year college I attended, and am currently in my junior year of college at the university I attend (I’m pursuing a degree in elementary education).
I would be a senior, but the Uni I transferred to didn’t carry all of my hours over. I’m super grateful for having started college at 17 now because I’ll get my 4 year degree at age 22.
University is tough, but I’m managing. I’m on the highest scholarship mine offers, and I’ve made president’s list with a 4.0 gpa.
Hopefully all continues to go well.

I've watched your videos in other subjects, helped me pass Social Studies. And Language Arts is big test take in cause of the essay part is half of the score. Really don't want to be that person one point off passing the test, love myself in proud I've completed something in life.
Wanted to come on here and say thank you for your content it’s definitely been a blessing🙏🏽I usually don’t comment on anything but I figured I would take the time and hopefully encourage someone that if I did it so can you,I dropped out of school at age 16 due to me becoming a teen parent having to put employment before education,which honestly without a education employment sometimes just isn’t enough.Im 32 now and just felt like it was impossible and I waited to long😌I almost gave up on myself,I just didn’t believe in myself🤦🏽♀️proud to say I’ve took 3 parts of the test and passed🙌🏽Social studies,Science,and I recently passed language arts😁as I guess I should mention without any preparation classes🥳,I got one left which is the Math that I’m honestly terrified to take but I have faith if I passed those I can pass this as well🙌🏽sometimes we have to have faith and believe that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us🙏🏽

@@mahdia649 I am an avid reader and I've always done fairly well in English classes but my best advice is just to slow down! Read everything very carefully :) You're more likely to make silly mistakes when you're rushing!

Never is late you are young do not feel you can not do it i am taking ged classes but they teach the same as this video God bless you and try you can do it last day of school was 2004 and i past lenguage arts keep going for the next one

How many questions are there? And are most of them basic multiple choice, or do a passage to be read first?
@@richardx.x1765 sorry for the late reply. If I remember there’s about 40 questions or more, the majority were multiple choice questions but with a passage to read on. After that I had to write an essay. They’ll give you a topic on what to write your essay on. The whole test takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Am also on COVID season 2021 though. On my last exam RLA.
Covid-19 Graduations are something we all need put behind us with virtual graduation.
I’m here to share my testimony I took my English ged 3 times it was not easy but I passed and some time when we fail we tend to search far but the answer is always close go to the father God and put your trust in him and trust him to lead you I don’t know who will read this but I need you to pary right now and ask for wisdom and ask him to show you how to trust him and trust me you’ll make it.good luck and I would like to say thank you Jesus 😭❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

@ep5039 I go to a independent study school and I had a talked with the vice principal and she told me I was still to young to talk the test i thought you could take at 16.5 but guess not so we sat down and talked and she told me I already on track to graduate early all I had to do is take all my senior class this year and during summer so God willing I should be out of school by September or October

I passed the RLA test yesterday with a score of 189 and it was largely thanks to this video! Your approach of referring back to the text and eliminating the wrong answers helped me out a lot. Thank you so much!

@@nilxi475 I would say always refer back to the text when answering each question. There were a few tricky ones that I would definitely have gotten wrong if I didn’t go back and read the passage.

But I didn’t quit and kept working hard by the will of God and following your videos and finally, I PASSED IT.🎉 on my 4th attempt last month. @@TMonique1995 No, they are not, well For some people math is hard but the idea in between social studies, RLA, and science is basically the same, you just need to study the book and work on your understanding ability, it just tests your understanding and analyzing the content, and it doesn’t necessarily ask you to memorize anything from the book.

Not the exact questions but it’s based mostly on reading and analyzing. It wasn’t hard at all, unfortunately I had a migraine on the day I was taking the test so that threw me off.

I watched this channel for about an hour and I passed math with a 149. Then I watched again for language arts and passed with a 145!😂 I hope science and social studies are easier. I’m 42 and only need my ged for a better job that I already have, but can’t start until I get it. To those reading… you got this.
i just passed this test, you dont really need to remember a whole lot, you just have to be good at comprehending what you read. The majority of the test is reading stories and answering multiple choice questions. The writing section is pretty hard though, i got 1/6 points for it and i thought it was pretty good. However its only 6 points, its nothing to sweat about.

@@amritpalkaur7221 the biggest thing is to have patience because it is a really long test. keep the timer in mind when doing the questions as well. it really isn't hard its just something you have to sit down and do

Test Prep Champions Test Prep Champions Sure. For science and social studies a general knowledge helps, but the most important thing is reading the information provided. The answers are almost always in the passage.
For mathematics understanding the basic concepts are crucial, but so easy to identify. Most practice tests cover all the content. Understand those concepts and you're good to go.
English was just like you said. Ace the multiple choice and you will pass. Nonetheless, give the essay a good attempt. Your video on how to structure an essay was key for me completing that part.
Time is a big factor in the exam. Don't waste it! If you are struggling on a question then flag it for review and move on. By the end when it's time to start reviewing you may have come across information to help you with it.
For final revision I recommend the videos of this channel, Test Prep Champions. Also www.gedpracticequestions.com has great multiple choice questions to test yourself with.

Thank you so much for your videos ,for the last week or so I watched so many of your videos and today I did my RLA test and passed with a 160 score 😊 .I followed your tips on reading and comprehension and also when doing the Essay and with that for me that didn’t went to elementary school or High School in the US I think this test was a piece of cake.The writing portion was the one I felt the weakest before doing the test but I got 3/6 and surprisingly I didn’t felt uncomfortable while doing it 😊

@@fomofelix thank you!😊 So far I’ve only done the RLA I still have 3 more to go ,tbh RLA the last part was what made me freaked out the most because I think is too little time the passages were pretty long and to read and comprehend and answer the questions ,also multiple choices and some of the answers were pretty long also to read all of that takes some time ,I think I lost some points there so hopefully the others I’m ok with the time 😊

@@fomofelix wow Congrats 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽you’re almost there ,the 2 subjects that scare me the most are science and math but I passed the GEDready for science with a 156 and I haven’t studied for that subject;that gives me hope that I’ll pass.For the RLA my biggest fear was the essay and believe it or not when I studied for the RLA the only thing I didn’t do was an essay I just Followed this channel tips for the Writing and somehow I got 3/6 on the writing I think that could help you get some points .Also when I got the 10 min break after writing the Essay I knew I was going to have a large session I went to the bathroom and then went out for some fresh air .Another thing is that most of the Passages you really just have to read between lines some of them you’ll need to read the whole thing to get into context but the good thing is that the answer is already provided there .I wish you the best of lucks 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼be confident that you’ll pass this time .

Yesterday I watched your social studies and language arts prep videos before I took my test. I’ve been out of high school for 12 years and have since become a journeyman plumber. In order for me to get my master license in Texas I need to have a ged or HS diploma. Your videos helped me mentally prep on what to expect and how to go through the questions properly. I'm sure you've gotten a lot of comments (as you should) stating this, but I have been out of work on FMLA due to surgery (achilles repair) but had woken up from anesthesia to be told he had done the wrong foot. Long story short, while I've been out of work much longer. My job had contacted me telling me I've been promoted, but I had to show my diploma, which I didn't have. So I watched all your videos over and over. Taking many notes and studying. I passed every test first try. I'm now returning to work Tuesday and going to get my promotion. Yes, there is. The test that I took had a grammar question at the end of the third part. It was about completing a message with the grammatically correct ending.

Thanks for these prep materials, I am using them with my GED classes, and my students like them. Last night, a student pointed out that there is a typo in question 20. Answer choice "D" should say "Please get me (a) salad" and it says "please get me salad".
