Hand Embroidery : Whipped Running Stitch

This stitch is one of the varieties of running stitch.
To do whipped Running stitch you need to know running stitch.
This stitch looks best when done in two colors of thread.
Steps
-----
1) Stitch a row of running stitch.
2) Carry out a new thread near the first running stitch.
3) Pass the needle in through the first stitch and come out of it.
4) Pass the needle in through the second stitch and come out of it.
5) Continue doing the stitch by using the running stitch foundation.(Note pass the needle in the same direction)
6) The needle is inserted through the stitches without piercing the fabric to get a well-ordered finish.
