I'm an EXO-L, our maknae is the guy who Seungri sat on. I am also a huge fan of Bigbang and they are the benchmark of Kpop. They are the idol of the idols. I have nothing but respect for these guys' music and talent. Once i click a Bigbang video no matter how many times I already watched it I will surely make it to the end. You just don't get sick of Bigbang's performances.

Renz Zita Yeah hopefully. But all I know is that GD demanded that BB have an african American band, and that’s when the band six came into the picture. Gd also asked them to work with blackpink. So, they might work with more yg in the future (they probably have already, idk) but may ask GD for his opinion. They really respect GD and Bigbang. You should watch the interview of them talking very highly about him and BB, but GD more specifically. They even referred to him as the king of kpop also, which is true, but it’s nice that Americans acknowledge him as the king as well.

The only thing we did is point out, whether the children liked it or not, Big Bang were and are Kings. Specifically of 2nd generation Kpop groups. Those newbies to Kpop were dissing everybody. School yard “my dog is better than your dog” childishness. Elvis was still “the King” when Michael Jackson was “the King”. You don’t diss the performers in Kpop, especially not the earlier generations. Not if you know anything about the industry and what the kids were/are put through. You don’t like a song, singer, or group, keep it to yourself.

My suggestion to you: go deeper into Bigbang. They have 14 years of catalog, I mean, back catalogue. But beware. Once you've delved deeper into them, as a group or soloists, there would be no turning back. VIPs (Bigbang fandom) prefer their live stages than their MVs. But their MVs is on another level.

The dancer on “Bang Bang Bang” song is a very famous dancer group called The Royal Family dancer with the leader on the center Parris. They’ve worked together too in the MV. Big Bang always put so much effort in their performances (it’s not their concert tho.. it’s “just” a music video award) but hey look at their performance.. u just can’t take your eyes away from the screen.. and imagine if you were there. Bigbang's live performances are so damn lit especially if it's their concert. Just like what you said they too want to make their audiences enjoy their performance. G-Dragon once said in a show that sometimes they don't even follow the choreography when they're performing, they do their own dance and interact with their fans instead since the stage is so wide and they're far away from each other. They don't just dance and sing and that's it, they do a 'great' performance that people who witnessed it will leave with a big smile on their faces, saying, "It was a blast!'.
They are Kings of kpop indeed. Their 9-year old MVs, 5-year old performances getting reviewed recently says a lot about their contribution and influence to the music industry.

Bigbang are my favourite group. The part where the blonde guy (Seungri) was sitting on the other singers while singing the slowed down part: Seungri is the youngest (maknae) in Bigbang and he likes to support all the other maknaes from other groups as well, as the youngest always gets pranked or it's the other way around (depending on each group Haha! (e.g. Kyuhyun from super junior)). This is why he was sitting on Sehun (Maknae of EXO) and they were playing along. The rest of the singers sitting there are the group named EXO. Seungri is also a joker so it was a funny moment to see him suddenly sitting on Sehun like that. If you search it there are photos online where fans have taking photos of their backs when Seungri was sitting there and you can see Sehun tugging the other EXO member's jacket (Chanyeol), like a sign to help him.

Experiencing BigBang Live is one of a kind, it's an unforgettable experience, as a group or solo act their live is seriously sick!! i had the previlege to watch 2 live concerts plus their solo's and it blew me away! you should watch them in coachella 2021. they were supposed to perform in coachella 2020 but covid happened... their incomparable in kpop... their the one and only KINGS of KPOP... YG artist are all LIT to be a be honest, their stage presence and live performances are just awesome!

The fuss was so big (I remember because I´m also guilty of participing in the fanwar as I was and still am a VIP) that Seungri sat on Sehun to kinda tell fans to stop the fanwars because if the groups are in good terms, there´s no need for the fans to be fighting with each other

This is my first time on your BIGBANG reaction vid and I love how you talked about the music creation itself, the band, and the music and instrument arrangement behind the actual show. Hey man! This performance is actually from an award show- you should really really reaaaalllllyyyyyy check out their own concerts (i’d highly recommend 0 to 10 final in Osaka/Seoul). Their live band is much more prominent there and are also given solo instrumental stage time / focus. Also, you can really see how much effort bigbang really puts in to engineering their own show- from restructuring/modifying songs, to stage design and tailoring each second of the show to fit the song and the performer (solo/group)- it’s very dynamic, and each stage really tells a story to keep you glued to your seats.
I think it’s just a really fun watch if you have 1hr of your time to spare- not even requesting for a reaction video (but id love if you did too)- just wanted to share it with you, knowing you are someone who creates as well as really appreciate art, think youd really like it!!!!!
ALSO, really enjoyed your review. You pointed out a few things (eg the subtle guitar strumming in ‘Loser’) that i had never noticed before- and ive been listening to bigbang since 2009. I think rather than just giving us some sick reactions, you really value added by giving in-depth/insightful analyses on the technicalities, which was rlly refreshing. And to think that this performance aint even their concert 😂 this is just an award show. In their concerts they have an actual band (the ones with drums and guitars)😊
You can tell that they are enjoying while performing. They know when to sing or let playback do their thing. You can really hear them sing despite the backtrack being so loud as well. They also perform their songs differently live. Different concept, vibe. I think that's why their live performances are getting lots of love aside from the MVs.
Our VIP fandom is no longer as big as it was before. And most are already in their late 20's and 30's. Plus, we're not as diligent as others when it comes to viewing MVs.

I've always loved it when reactors are knowledgeable about music production and they give their insights to my faves' music. It makes us non-musically knowledgeable people learn something new. Anyway, if you have time, TOP Doom Dada's solo performance in 0T10 concert was one of my most favorite solo performances, it was so good with live band. Along with other Bigbang live performances like MMA 2015, MAMA 2012-2014 and other tour reports especially If You and Sober.

Truth and fact : ONLY YG ARTISTS CAN PERFORM LIVE PERFORMANCE THAT WILL MAKE YOU LOSE YOUR VOICE AND MAKE YOU DANCE AND JUMP. I have been to all of the concerts of every artist of YG, I promise you the next day my body hurts so much as well as I lost my voice. Worth the money experience!
