This is all we wanted a remake closer to the RE1 remake. We got a whole lot more and somewhat less with REmake 2. Not knocking the game but now I'm wondering what if at the same time. I love remake 2 for what it is a solid 9 out of 10 with little to nitpick. However I am always going to wounder what an RE2 remake closer to RE1 remake would have been like with scenes taken straight from RE2 Original just with better dialog and extended areas and new enemies but I also love the reimaged story as well just now I have a fun what if to think about too. Anyway can't wait for RE3 remake and RE8!!!
I love that the original sounds are still here. Some may complain about the RE2 voice acting, but it's far better than RE1. The tone set by the original dialogue and sound effects remain, and the visuals are enhanced. Ada's model is great...i appreciate the heels not being too high and the black leggings...it just seems more practical.
In the original RE2, she wears martial arts flats, which are pretty comfy and have good traction. But for some reason, every updated/reimagining of her original outfit has her in heels 😂 My guess is that they did it for aesthetic reasons, but it’s very impractical.
I really miss these kinds of cinematics for the series, seems like Capcom is just interested in doing first person cutscenes. The 3d models are awesome but I especially love your camera work and how well it goes with the character's choreography. I understand constant first person is supposed to be more immersive, but I always suspected it was also an excuse for game companies to cut back on cinematography. Anyway, thanks again for making these vids, I'm still hoping a remake of this fashion will come to be someday (even by a group of modders).

Thanks. I didn't do the initial rigs, but she's a mesh mod combination of Ada's RE6 nude model, her ORC model, and her hair is from DOA. I was frustrated at not finding a non Darkside Chronicles Ada, because I thought using her RE4 version of the outfit was lazy. That version of the outfit makes no sense in the context of RE2.

The shots I've uploaded are honestly not even completely done yet and will be reworked to fix some bugs and lighting issues. That being said, I'll definitely try and upload more! I might even do some of RE3 at some point!
Atlier I think, even in their early stages, they looks absolutely awesome. Brings me back. It's nice to see some Resident Evil 2 stuff, especially after Capcom has been downright awful about this whole REmake 2 thing with nothing shown or talked about in forever, so thanks for doing what you are doing man. The fans always seem to know Resident Evil better than they do, which is hilarious, because they're the ones that made it. KpopBTSLOVER 레온 maybe I've been working on the project for so long that I'm not seeing what you are trying to point out? Are you trying to say it's cross-eyed or something? I think the reflection of light might be confusing you. His other eye is hidden from the light by his hair, so it's not catching as much light. I have Leon's eyes locked on Ben's location so it can't go anywhere else unless I animate it myself lol.
Atlier it was the light casting making Leon look blind or the model had a glitch in the eye, if you look the on on the left (viewers right) it has a pupi and iris, while on the right ( viewers left) looks gray in a sense making him appear blind, the animation was fantastic. I forgot to mention that.

Jonathan Kozenko I can answer that actually! The jail cell is from RE: Darkside Chronicles and is how it appears in that game. To avoid having to animate Leon and Claire talking to him, he is already dead with that note scrawled on the wall. Hope that answers your question!

Haha no. Its Leon's RE6 head with some texture edits on his (edited) Operation Raccoon City body. Dante and Leon just look extremely similar.
RE6 Leon was my second guess since yeah DMC4 Dante and RE6 Leon do look similar. Awesome job on how you remade this RE2 scene by the way.
