I miss MGO so fucking much, by far the best most amazing online game ever created had to be shut down?!?! I don't understand Kojima???? This game had it all. Fun, Humor, laughs, strategy, epicness, emotional, amazing friends, Call Of Duty will never come close and nearly as good as MGO. THE BEST ONLINE GAME EVER CREATED!!!
I miss all the Pros, the Noobs, The glitchers!!!!! The servers only created to mess around and see the best and funnies of MGO, Players doing the grenade switch with both arms, Players reading porno magz, Players all saluting, Players all T-bagging. The Servers where intense epic matches went down, SURVIVAL Every Wednesdays!!!! The only online game that brings in love, friendships LMAO I Miss You guys all very much. T___T....

Canadian Troll kojima/konami will never beat this game, no matter what next MGO comes out, MGO2 was by far one of the best online shooter games out there, not to mention i was sick playing mw2 by that time but this game changed my mind and i was playing it every weekend after a long week working...this was so fun to play with partners, damn :(...i hope for the next MGo they let the players at least with 5 yeras of online service or even more, just like the BATTLEFIELD GAMES...these have servers after 5 years the game was new in sales.

In MGS V it's MGO3. Peace Walker had MGO2
404 but in pw it was shit because of the frames per second and it had only 3v3 fights and 2 gamemodes that get boring and it didnt have the same features like in the console version so it didnt count as mgo 2
4 years later, I'm just playing this shitty mgo3. mgo2 will never be replaced

i just, i dunno man i miss it i physically miss this game. i never even got the chance to really enjoy it.
i'm a huge mgs fan but unfortunately i never had the chance to play it online. just got my ps3 in sep 2012 and the servers were already shut down :( i'd really love to play that grozny grad map. but i'll be there when phantom pain comes.

I used to be a huge cod and halo fan. once I played mgo I hated every other game. it was so epic. I had cqc ex, so whenever some one tried to cqc my guy would body slam them! its like the highest cqc lvl. that was my favorite part. I hope they have it in the new one

Ironic that games that came out before MGS4 still have their servers running (TF2, CS:S, etc.). If only Konami had sold some of their servers, they could've still kept this game afloat. But it's too late now, they already ripped MGO2 off the disc and Konami will probably never re-release it again. R.I.P. MGO2, R.I.P. Kojima (didn't die but i'm pretty sure he's leaving after MGS5: TPP)

Will Mgo3 be the same, I wonder if all the great players of mgo2 will make a come back in mgo3. The community was amazing, although it had ls'ing and glitchers, it was still all fun, that amazing moment when you find the dead body of the person doing the dead body glitch felt amazing :D. I will be coming back to MGO3 and I'll be using the same name I used in mgo2 ^-^ This was an amazing video and a very sad Goodbye, still breaks my heart to this very day.

Aw man this game was so much fun. i remember playing the tournament with auto team and we were all a bunch of lvl 10s and 12s. first match against a pro clan and somehow won the match luckily with team capture. after the game they announced top everyone that we were cheaters in their character bio. but got shit on the 2nd round though. but this game was so damn fun and the knife lobbies too. MGO is back but you have to be able to jailbreak your ps3 to do it, only a handful of people playing though.
