Thank you so much for doing beginner tutorials! I am a beginner, and i have a market coming up and had NO idea how i was going to make my necklaces with no bails! You saved the day!
@3:16 "I just know I'm going to get crap for this......my heart is always with a beginner...."
And that right there is why I love your channel and you!!!
After my TIA, my memory is crap.
A friend asked me to do a simple wire wrap on a stone to wear. Sure, no problem. But there was. I couldn't remember; I kept trying and trying and trying and was devastated that I couldn't wrap the stone. I have my jewelry making supplies and realized I had no idea on how & what do with all this.
In the end, I turned to your channel and several others that I'm subscribed to and figured it out.
Even to this day, I have very little memory retention for this, but I know where to go for help.
Thank you for being you.
Love, light and blessings.
I never comment on things but I just had to because I to had a stroke and a year later TIA. Although my speech and memory has improved, but don't understand how frustrating it is not remembering things. I'm still relearning words that are super simple (thank goodness for spell check). As a crafter I have been lost trying to remember how to do things I was skilled at, and your channel has helped me immensely! Thank you for your patience and time. Your are more of a blessing than you know. For those that "give you crap," tell'em to hush or fast-forward and leave us "beginner" be. Thanks again!
I absolutely loved this video so much! Thanks for sharing!
Hey, Stacy! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching!
Your intro was priceless for someone who never heard of glue on bails!
Thank you exactly what I needed to see today! Thank you for always being so sweet and loving toward your audience. 💜
I just got some of my cabs and oh my gosh. You gave me a small red and black one that has SOOOO much depth. I hope you are going to have more for the next release batch. Oh wow, it's breathtaking.
Very good and helpful video. Thanks 😊👍
I'm glad you like it! 😊
Thanks for the video. Just today I’ve been making many bails with wire and just happen to check out your way of doing it. It solved my problem of putting on messy glue on the back. Can’t wait to try it. Thank you again.
Thank you Yvonne!
Thanks so much for that great idea!! I love it😊
This is literally how I've been making bails all year if I wasn't wire wrapping my cabs. Great to see you doing this and validating that these suckers will hold up. I was worried about that.
Thank you this is so awesome and I love these they’re so pretty. I’m a beginner and I’m so grateful for ya! 🌸☮️🌸
Thank you so much, Patti! I'm glad to be helpful to you!
Scrap wire bin!! I have a bag with tangled wire. (I have Grandies.) I can untangle what i can andput the clippings in the box!!
An excellent tutorial thank you! 💕
Just ordered those pliers! Can’t wait to get them!
🤚Beginner here! Thank you for the extra talk! This is a brilliant idea!!!!
Love it! Thank you!
Very interesting and informative. I find glueing really tricky and messy, so it's great to see how to do it properly, thank you.
Love this tutorial
Love this… just what I needed
Thank you Yvonne 💖
I have to try this.
Thank you for this clever and beautiful bail idea!
Thank you for clear demonstration and instructions. Very helpful to those of us learning.
I'm so glad you feel this way, Valerie!
I love the idea of using the fast-curing resin like you are using instead of the glue just wish I could use it I ended up with chemical burns all over my face from the fumes of regular epoxy
Another great tutorial!
Thank you!
Thank you
Marianne Robinson -Remembered this tutorial, came back, found it and I am so grateful. Love you for sharing!

Thanks so much Yvonne for showing and telling me how to use such items!
Thank you I’ve been blindly searching terms in jewelry making world to find what they’re called . I need glue on bails!!! Thank you so much!!!
Thank You.
I’ve been watching your videos for years an always learn something valuable to me. Thank you!
Awesome idea!
thanks so much ... love the bail on the Lab...
Hi! I SO appreciate your "refresher" info for the beginner. Thanks
Thanks for sharing!
Interesting concept. Thanks!
Ty so much.
Thank you so much for the tutorial. I made a bunch of these for this weekend, I had a big sale the week before and I was struggling really hard to fill the table up with enough stuff. I made seven or eight of these and they were really popular! I really appreciate your tutorials!
That is awesome! I am so glad they sold well for you!
@@backtoearthcreations hey Yvonne! I am having some reports of the adhesive bails not only yellowing, but also popping off entirely. Have you found any solutions to this? I am curious if there is another adhesive I can use. I have tried the one you use here and also epoxy 300. Both seem the same. I’m discouraged because I don’t want this to happen to my customers but it seems a lot of the glues are doing this.
Great solution! And I love the idea of adding your logo under the surface.
Great information. Thanks for sharing.
omg this video is perfect timing, lol . i just learned to do resin and trying to figure out how to do the back... thank you
Thank you 😊
I am glad you make such in depth video's on how to do each step ! Thanks for all you do! :)
i love this artist soooooo much!
Thank you for your kindness!!
The 2 swirl bail was so beautiful I'd make that the front not the back 😍
ooo, that would be really cool!
Thank you, Von! Even your easy tutorials are inspiring. And never apologize for speaking to us perpetual beginners! I know it helps me plenty!
Your wonderful teacher ❤️ Thank you so much for your classes . Your Great. I BLESS you 😊
Hi Vonne Yes Your Work Catches A lot Of People's Eye. We Really appreciate You for Sharing Your Talent with Us.. Thank You Keep giving Us Greatness.
🙏🏼 Yvonne, and for the crafters/jewellers who really don’t want to waste the epoxy excess on the mixing surface , I mix it on a square of balsa wood just before it has cured fix a small cardboard image or photograph on it, waste not want not! 😄💍
As for the glue...this owner of this really nice Rock shop in TN..she uses super glue. I was surprised but she has had no issue with saying super glue 🧐e6000 takes too long to dry..so there you go.. haha
Never apologize for showing us over and over……
I just made my very first free form wire wrap around a stone that I carved and polished
OMG spirals are SO hard
I sure need to practice
I let the stone tell me what works
Basically there are two wires that slant across the stone then hook and spiral on the back, catching the natural curves of the stone.
No catchies and it all seems secure
❤️❤️❤️
very neat!
This is so good. Thank you so very much............................
awesome tutorial, can't wait to try working with wire!
That second one would make some really cool earrings. Or glue the swirlys to the front of the stone and pull one of the hanging loops to the back and glue it for security.
Right on! That’s a great idea!
"you could use a jewelers chasing hammer....not for chasing jewelers around" of course XD you crack me up Yvon!
Those are such pretty bails! I have used e6000 (and cured it in the oven), but this resin looks awesome.
Thank you so much! I can never unsmell the E6000 either and am excited to try this alternative! Awesome tutorial.
I use a different 2 part epoxy to put my cabochons into a bail and after at most 30 minutes there is no smell. 😁 The warmer/humid it is the longer it takes to cure and de-stink.
Von you are the Bomb~
This glue on bail crafting is just amazing~
I cant wait to get my wire order in~ Keep on keeping on!
Thank you so much, Laurie! I really hope this is helpful to you!
@@backtoearthcreations Im always looking fro new ways to create my treasures.....:)
You my friend has been a God send....Im wearing my Orange "Goddess Necklace" you made and i bought from the auction~ I feel empowered when i do!
Interesting thank you 😊 love that labradorite 💙😊
Hi, I moved and haven't had internet probably not for another 4 weeks either. Also, my dad, mom, daughter and I all got Covid. It's been rough. My dad is the only one in the hospital. He is stable at the moment. Good to hear your voice and watch a video. Take care!!
I love your tutorials and love your voice!😆
wow! Thank you, Amy!
Great ideas for making quick bails and I have A LOT of scrap wire too lol.
You always make these look so easy, I wish I could take some private lessons from you!
Me again, lol
I polish and shape stones from my driveway (glacialtilth )
Lots of agates jaspers quartzs and other un identifiable pretties
I thought I would drill the stones and attach bales
I’m afraid the drill might chip or crack some of them
Especially things like feldspar who have a fit if touched by spinning tools
I’m so glad I found your channel
Then I saw your channel
Very interesting and informative. I was wondering if you knew if or how pinch bails could be made. Thank you.
I have some interest in natural stones and this will be perfect to get them ready for sale.
Will watch later. Meds kicking in
Hi Yvonne a pleasure watching you. You give so much great information. Can you tell me if this epoxy works the same on real stone cabs?
What are in your genius opinion is the must have ga wire and dead soft, half hard. I am just starting and I can't invest a ton of money in wire yet I so appreciate you and your teaching style thank you in advance for your help
the yellow pliers i have never seen before can you send a link for those, if at all possible.
❤️❤️❤️
How do I share some of the work I do with the cabachons I get from you. I would love for you to see how I use them
Thank You, haven’t been Watching for a while, wanted to ask where you get your henna to draw on your hands, I am doing chemo and I would like to try some of it to make some eyebrows, I’ve lost all my hair but it looks better with eyebrows penciled in, I thought Henna would at least last longer
@Yvonne Williams I’m already a member of the craft along group but I was wondering if I could get another craft along box and send it to my granddaughter?
Sure, Margie! We have them for sale on our website here: www.backtoearthcreations.com/kits-and-boxes.html
@@backtoearthcreations I want to do the monthly craft a long for her. 😊
@@backtoearthcreations I put the order in. I’m not sure that I did right one for the monthly subscription so I put it in the comments also. I’m sorry I’m not more computer literate. 🥰
Chasing jewelers around!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You're ok by me!
Thanks for a great presentation! I have 2 questions: 1. Is it possible to make a "homemade" pinch bail? AND 2. Can I use the Devcon with Polymer clay or will there be a reaction between the two?
Comment 😁
Thanks…..I’m the beginner, except I probably won’t “glue my bail on”….looking for different types of bails. I am NOT satisfied with the any of my bails…..I mean they look kinda OK but kinda OK is NOT good enough. Thank you.
Good luck to you!
