But what is “a false model frame ending up as a plain diatonic” supposed to mean even? Did someone garble that? Was the reviewer putting us on? Whether it’s modal or tonal, it still uses the diatonic scale. “Diatonic” isn’t synonymous with “major”. It doesn’t require a particular tonal center.

Searching ‘Insert band name funny interviews’ gets millions of videos of this kind of comedy (the Beatles comedy is clearly just an awkward version of British comedy) Accept they were an average boy band. People only ever compare them with one direction which is a band marketed to pre teens instead of the Beatles late teen to young adult audience. See how Harry styles bounced to great heights when he went for Beatles audience ages? Throw a stone into a crowd of bands and you’ll hit a band just a good as the Beatles or better 4 out of 5 times.

To make it funnier when he says it isn’t rock and roll Ringo says yea it is at the same time with Paul saying it’s not rock and roll but we like it. Then they all start singing it. Even back then, "Love Me Do" was far from their best song. All the other original compositions on their first album are better written than it.
