I just started dialysis about a few months ago and just found out about this. Now I can get the opportunity to have fun with my family!!!! I love this
I have received a new kidney!! Great way to start of the Nee Year!!
I’ve been on many cruises. I love to cruise. When I had to go on dialysis 6 months ago I thought my cruising days were over. I can’t wait to take another cruise Summer or fall of 2022!!!
I've been on dialysis for nearly two years. When I first heard about dialysis at Sea I said to myself I must go. This is something that I would love to do with my husband. We have to put our money to the side for something like this but I know that we can do it.
Me too
This is on my bucket list, I've been on dialysis sense I was 18 and I am now 45 soon to be 45 in December I would love love love to go on a cruise I have not been to the beach I had not felt sand under my feet im happy google at dialysis at sea...... Thank you doctors and nurses and bless you!!
WOah! How many years bro? Im 15
I hope you went on one and still kicking have a good one
I was on dialysis the first time at 17, I had two kidney transplants since and have been back on dialysis for 4 years now waiting for my next. Now I’m 50. I think this cruise thing would be so great just to go away wonderful! I wish you the best and I hope maybe we can go on one of these cruises soon.
I’ve been on a cruise before but my first dialysis cruise will be in November and I’m super excited:)
How was it?
This is such a great idea,,I've only been on Dialysis for about three months,, and spent many years as a ships DJ, back in the 80s and 90s. I had thoughts of going back to it, it would be a joy to just get back on a ship for awhile,, great fun always.
My mother would love this!
Gee, my Dr is only available every other month when I’m on dialysis and so is her PA. Sounds like you get a lot better treatment as they already stated at sea. I’m impressed I can hardly wait until I can plan for a cruise.
Thought I was the only one who had lousy care from my "call me if you need me" nephrologist and his staff of unconcerned RNs. With PD at home, I'm on my own anyway, except when specialty doctors are needed. Does sound like you get much better care on the ships
Type O had a transplant that last 7 years ;) but I am currently receiving dialysis back on 12yrs now

Valerie Brown Cheers I wonder if they would be willing to do other things. Like I have to have IV fluids, 2 bags, 2 times a week. Would they access my port to give me fluids??
Is the cost for the dialysis treatment embedded in the overall cruise price or is it a separate expense?
How expensive is it, and how would I check with my insurance?
What is the cost of dialysis at sea?
Im a dialysis patient for 15years and I would like to go on a cruise. What does insurance covers and what does it not cover and how much the cruise cost.
But was the cost extra beyond the cruise
What about peritoneal dialysis
We can’t find anything for the peritoneal dialysis 5:48
Hi, Fresenius and most dialysis companies will send your fluids/cassettes to the cruise ship if you order around 4 weeks prior to embarking. Most cruise ships require that you have manual bags even if you are using a cycler just in case ship loses power. Call the phone number that you place your monthly order with, they will tell you all about cruising and peritoneal dialysis. I’ve been in dialysis 29 years. Get out and enjoy cruising!
No update?
I'm looking for a job as dialysis nurse on cruise.. where can I apply
How do I book a dialysis cruise?
