Never fished the aqueduct before but can you pretty much fish anywhere on the aqueduct? Or are there only designated areas to fish?
Pretty much anywhere. Just look on google maps and find roads that go over the aqueduct. Just don’t park in front of the gate, just on the side of it.

You can find the aqueducts from Tracy going all the way south to LA. Look on Google maps and fish anywhere at the aqueduct. Thanks for watching!!

There are actually a lot of stripers in there. I threw a jerk bait in between fishing with bait and had a lot of em chase it to the edge. I love catfish nuggets. It’s fire 🔥🔥🔥

how many were channels? I remember the cats out of delta had real fishy taste. How did those big heads taste?
We use to use clams and liver. Have you tried those baits also?
That day we got a few channels. The big heads tasted fine, same as channels. I’ve used chicken liver at the aqueduct but not clams there.

Those are bullhead catfish I think 🤔 they don’t grow as large as other catfish but are good to eat

the bighead ones are actually white catfish or white bullheads

I’m only using 15lb test but I set my drag kind of loose.Depends on your experience. 20lb test if you don’t really fish that often.

How is it at nighttime compared to day time more or less bite?
That’s the thing about the aqueduct, the bite is always different out there. Some days it bites more at night and vice versa.
