Every time so it seems. I had to put a red ball hanging from garage ceiling so it hit the windshield to save the garage wall. Then she took the driver door off by holding it open an backing out of the garage. She's gotten better over the years. Once she backed in to my motorcycle in our driveway. I was so pissed I called the police on her.

If you don’t know which is the gas or the brake, it’s best to just not drive at all. It’s the simplest thing and yet still rocket science for a lot of people. It’s also amazing how they’re so frustrated after hitting something as if they had no clue as to where the break was.

Just saying you want to drive and that you have the right to drive isn't enough. You have to work for it. I am proud of my mother and sister that they learnt how to be a good rider from my father and grandfather, by putting actual effort into it, not just by, "let's see, it will happen eventually." No. It does not work like that. Even I have made mistakes. But I don't blame it on the car ir two-wheeler. That is the difference between learning and people like these. But still most women have problems in driving. They drive slowly in the middle of the road. You cannot overtake. You cannot see what's ahead. You hit a pothole because of them. They brake hard before assessing the situation. I am not teasing anyone here, I am here to tell that they need to practise more before they drive, so as to not put others' lives in danger. Starting to drive without any practise or even when you are not ready, just to show to people that we can also drive and have the right to drive is not cool. Get the right amount of practice in safe zones and then see how well you will perform on the road driving. No one will have the room to say anything to you. I've been in 2 accidents in my life, one was a 19 year old girl who was texting, that's self explanatory, then this 95 year old woman who slowly drove her car into the side of mine until my car flipped over. That was bizarre because I was making eye contact as she was slowly approaching my car. It was like she couldn't even see me. Came to find out later, she was an old lady with dementia and very poor eyesight who had not driven in 20 years, but decided to take her daughters car and go to the grocery to pick up a few things.
Driving instructor: Look lady im telling you last time, when you see some person suddenly comes in front of your car, you have to 'hit the brakes hard'. Neither you hit the man, nor you hit the high notes of your scream.
I'm amazed nobody got hurt in that first one. I'd also like to add that in general I know autos are safer but in situations where you need fine control like parking they are much more dangerous. If you press the accelerator accidentally in a manual you're much more able to control the acceleration via the clutch pedal or pulling it out of gear whereas in an auto it takes more time to correct it. Then, there are the situations where people forget to put it in park before stepping out of the car. In a manual you don't have that problem. You only need to apply the HB. 2:02 I admire that old man's agility.

My insurance agent once told me that 2 to 3 out of every ten claimants tell him that the car suddenly started doing strange things before or during the accident. That is obviously a lie, because statistics show that it very rare the car really fails and is the cause of an accident. In all other cases the driver mistakes the breaks with any other pedal.

I wonder how many of these are automatic transmissions and of those how many are driving with 2 feet? All these "out of control from a standing start, then the same in the opposite direction" scenarios would be quite difficult to achieve in a manual transmission which takes more co-ordination and focus.
You may be right . I have driven autos since 1987 (manuals from 1967 to 1987) I have never confused the pedals. Two feet enables me to be even faster reacting to danger than using one foot. Maybe I am a minority
These clips r from China and cars are almost all auto. The thing with women is that they freeze when in panic aka foot STIFF on throttle aka when they crash you notice they tend to speed up because their foot is locked onto gas so it gets even more destructive

Everyone should learn to drive a manual and get the license driving a manual. It's almost impossible to make 2 gigantic mistakes at exactly the same time, even for women.

Aside from the general irony I was using, many women not only drive well, but understand much more about engines than many other men. As regards insurance costs, I believe it depends on the fact that women, in general, travel many fewer kilometers than men, therefore being less exposed to occasions of trouble while driving, and in any case tend to avoid situations of neurosis behind the wheel ( as boys don't do...), this also explains the minor expenses well. Notice it’s automatics? The biggest cause of ‘malfunctions’. Those that drive manuals don’t do it because of muscle memory. Clutch, accelerator - you have to operate both at the same time. There was a memorable moment on a ferry when an American male who had never driven manual, the entire length from dock to rear of the ferry (boarding it) at around 60mph, until it hit the solid rear of the ship - flattened front, airbags deployed. The time his brain took to not realise he was pressing the accelerator and not the clutch or brake. Seems male and female have difficulties….

I'm an excellent driver with superb depth perception (I drive BIG trucks). but even so I rarely park perfectly straight between the lines. however what I always do in perpendicular parking lots is back IN! This is because backing OUT there's blind spots but NOT when you PULL out. I hate angled parking lots for this reason because they force you to do the WRONG thing (pull IN). Finally you will notice though that even in a perpendicular lot 90% of drivers pull IN. Why? I call this my john q IQ test.
The SUV driver @ 00:36 foresaw the risk coming his / her way and backed up. The gentleman in the blue shirt was a hero. Good attempt though to open the door and apply the brakes & shift to neutral. Typical in Auto Transmissions.
Insurance is only expensive for men because men have been flagged by auto insurance companies for being the more "high-risk" drivers on our roads in the United States compared to their female counterparts. Women don't drive aggressively. Therefore they pay way less for auto insurance.

There are as many guys getting busted for electronic use while in operation of a motor vehicle where I'm from. I only know this because we have police scanners rolling throughout our house 24/7. But along with that, the amount of males being busted for not just cell phone use, but also expired registration, number plate violations, tinted windows, speeding and driving on a revoked or suspended driver's licenses are phenomenal. And all that goes to prove to me is that they all think they're above the law somehow. If you're not legal to operate a motor vehicle because you don't have an up-to-date registration, or a valid driver's license, then you shouldn't be driving. But they don't seem to get that concept very well.

I recall walking down a street in Toronto that allowed parallel parking on one side. I watched in amusement as a woman driver tried again and again and again to park. I finally walked to the driver's side and said, "would you like me to park your car?" I thought that she'd be angry but no, she said, "yes please. The same thing occurred at Hillcrest Mall in Richmond Hill, Ontario. I watched as a woman driver tried to slot park. Back and forth, back and forth she went. As with the last time, I asked her, "would you like me to park the car." She answered, "yes please."
Austrian women drivers are really good drivers and they park very well, especially under pressure because they don’t have much time to park before the next tram is coming. I think that the driving training systems of other countries let them down. German and Austrian women actually are very good drivers.

I'm a woman and I watch these videos just for a good laugh because I know there are a lot of both silly male and female drivers out there. But in all honesty, I don't think gender dictates whether you're a good driver or not. I've seen plenty of guys do far worse than what I'm seeing in this video. I learned to drive car first time from my Mom, and it was manual transmission sedan, she taught everything to me, no problem at all at parking, and she also drove everywhere by herself
I’m pretty good in parking my vehicle. When I was practicing in driving in my teens that I was doing lot of parking. I always make sure my car is between the lines.
Whats wrong is that the vast majority of females lack depth perception and good hand/eye coordination. The combination is a recipe for disaster. Not all females have these issues though but unfortunately for the vast majority? Males in contrast its exactly the opposite. few of us have these issues.

I've been in 2 accidents in my life, one was a 19 year old girl who was texting, that's self explanatory, then this 95 year old woman who slowly drove her car into the side of mine until my car flipped over. That was bizarre because I was making eye contact as she was slowly approaching my car. It was like she couldn't even see me. Came to find out later, she was an old lady with dementia and very poor eyesight who had not driven in 20 years, but decided to take her daughters car and go to the grocery to pick up a few things.

I'd also like to add that in general I know autos are safer but in situations where you need fine control like parking they are much more dangerous. If you press the accelerator accidentally in a manual you're much more able to control the acceleration via the clutch pedal or pulling it out of gear whereas in an auto it takes more time to correct it. Then, there are the situations where people forget to put it in park before stepping out of the car. In a manual you don't have that problem. You only need to apply the HB.

I have no idea what the heck is going on in this video, let alone if there's really any proof that all of these drivers are female. As a woman, if I were truly this incompetent at driving, then I wouldn't be sporting keys to both a truck and an 800 cc motorcycle. But because I have such a flawless driving record, I've always been able to afford insuring two different vehicles for myself, while many of the guys I work with can't afford to insure a 20-year-old old shit box after being issued so many speeding citations and other violations (like tinted windows or driving on a suspended/expired driver's license)...
Keep in mind there are many reasons why auto insurance companies have you guys pegged for being the more "high-risk" drivers on our roads compared to your female counterparts. And that isn't pertaining to the very delusional idea that you guys are any better behind the wheel. (Quite the opposite in fact). Men currently yield much higher percentages for reckless and aggressive driving habits such as speeding, road rage and drunk driving. You guys are also 10 times more likely to illegally operate a motor vehicle under a suspended driver's license or an expired registration. My insurance agent once told me that 2 to 3 out of every ten claimants tell him that the car suddenly started doing strange things before or during the accident. That is obviously a lie, because statistics show that it very rare the car really fails and is the cause of an accident. In all other cases the driver mistakes the breaks with any other pedal.

I wonder how many of these are automatic transmissions and of those how many are driving with 2 feet? All these "out of control from a standing start, then the same in the opposite direction" scenarios would be quite difficult to achieve in a manual transmission which takes more co-ordination and focus.

These clips r from China and cars are almost all auto. The thing with women is that they freeze when in panic aka foot STIFF on throttle aka when they crash you notice they tend to speed up because their foot is locked onto gas so it gets even more destructive

Everyone should learn to drive a manual and get the license driving a manual. It's almost impossible to make 2 gigantic mistakes at exactly the same time, even for women.

Aside from the general irony I was using, many women not only drive well, but understand much more about engines than many other men. As regards insurance costs, I believe it depends on the fact that women, in general, travel many fewer kilometers than men, therefore being less exposed to occasions of trouble while driving, and in any case tend to avoid situations of neurosis behind the wheel ( as boys don't do...), this also explains the minor expenses well. In any case, congratulations for your determination.

Notice it’s automatics? The biggest cause of ‘malfunctions’. Those that drive manuals don’t do it because of muscle memory. Clutch, accelerator - you have to operate both at the same time. There was a memorable moment on a ferry when an American male who had never driven manual, the entire length from dock to rear of the ferry (boarding it) at around 60mph, until it hit the solid rear of the ship - flattened front, airbags deployed. The time his brain took to not realise he was pressing the accelerator and not the clutch or brake. Seems male and female have difficulties….

I'm an excellent driver with superb depth perception (I drive BIG trucks). but even so I rarely park perfectly straight between the lines. however what I always do in perpendicular parking lots is back IN! This is because backing OUT there's blind spots but NOT when you PULL out. I hate angled parking lots for this reason because they force you to do the WRONG thing (pull IN). Finally you will notice though that even in a perpendicular lot 90% of drivers pull IN. Why? I call this my john q IQ test.

There are as many guys getting busted for electronic use while in operation of a motor vehicle where I'm from. I only know this because we have police scanners rolling throughout our house 24/7. But along with that, the amount of males being busted for not just cell phone use, but also expired registration, number plate violations, tinted windows, speeding and driving on a revoked or suspended driver's licenses are phenomenal. And all that goes to prove to me is that they all think they're above the law somehow. If you're not legal to operate a motor vehicle because you don't have an up-to-date registration, or a valid driver's license, then you shouldn't be driving. But they don't seem to get that concept very well.

I'm a woman and I watch these videos just for a good laugh because I know there are a lot of both silly male and female drivers out there. But in all honesty, I don't think gender dictates whether you're a good driver or not. I've seen plenty of guys do far worse than what I'm seeing in this video. If being female is any true correlation, then I don't think I would be sporting the keys to a motorcycle and a pickup truck if I wasn't capable of operating either one of them.
