Y'know, not that either aren't horrifying on their own, but at least the bottle is, like, contained. It just sits there, being disgusting to look at, while mold will fester and grow and reek and attract all manner of vileness. That's a level of gross all its own.
I forced my brother to clean his room (We live separate, both grown ass men. I'm just older.) And he had three, count them, three 2-liter piss bottles.
Never before had I seen it. His bathroom is right next door.

The mold is way worse especially if the pee bottles are sealed. Pippa had to open her window because she had problems breathing!!! The mold made her so sick she had to sleep with a drawer under her head to throw up in!!! The mold is way worse!

pretty much yea. Piss bottles are not even remotely close to how bad mold is, mold can cause several skin or lung infections, can destroy your building walls and shit and thus rank up a lot in repairs, spread insanely fast and thus can infect other people's places and such or even can be carried on you to other places and also obviously affects your breathing and whatnot
The worst part is the fact that mold is pretty insanely easy to get rid of. Go to a hardware store and get a few bottles of isopropyl alcohol (70%+) and then just spray it onto the mold, it's done (or hell even sanitizer somewhat works)
@@MaxC_1 I'd go with hydrogen peroxide over isopropyl. I had a pretty stubborn bit of mold that I soaked in 99% isopropyl for several minutes, and that shit kept coming back.
The peroxide only took one treatment and it hasn't been back since.
@@kaybe9797 you shouldn't use 99% iso for killing organic microorganisms. Always use around 70% iso which is definitely more effective. Why you ask?

Bleach and hydrogen peroxide are more commonly associated with remedying mold and fungus outbreaks."

mold in a old shared living situation i was in caused me to hallucinate and have horrible paranoia and depression. i couldn't find where the mold was coming from and the landlord wouldn't do shit to fix the issue.

Piss bottle is less bad because it's contained, but more bad because it's less normal and takes more effort. Just forgetting to bring up a plate and it getting gross is normal. Heck some things mold super fast. But piss bottle I feel like that takes effort. I mean I guess not throwing it away takes the same amount of effort, but making one in the first place requires more planning and if you PLAN to piss in a bottle, that's worse.
If I need to chose between one evil or another, I rather not choose at all.
At least the piss bottles are self-contained...

Everytime Pippa says its an extra step, i always think she is pretty lazy for a bunny. Literally has no energy.
I feel theres more nuance or something. We dont consider alternate circumstances that would lead to someone peeing in a bottle.
Say if someone has roommates and they take forever in the bathroom and either refuse to get out, or make a fuss when they do. Pee in a bottle and dispose of it when they get out.
Theres also the possibility of living in an area where your home is surrounded by other homes and can get caught whipping it out/poppin' a squat if you try to pee outside. Pee in a bottle and dispose of it later.
Mold is a result of laziness, extreme neglect. And the fact someone doesnt finish their FUCKIN PLATE.

Aight hear me out, depending on the situation the piss bottles aint that bad, sometimes your family member will stay in the toilet for an hour and at that point its either A piss in a bottle, B run outside and piss, and C option i aint letting happen which is pissing myself.
Now mould is bad, because i know that you were lazy enough not to dispose of it for multiple days. Like so bad youre growing new lifeforms in your room.

Both come from the same base issue: you dont want to get out of your computer.
Pippa (and sheepy and Loom) are biased because they're women. Pissing in a bottle is potentially difficult for them, whereas for a male its extremely easy. Comparing "just leaving the dishes there" and "pissing in a bottle" makes no sense for women, one is clearly an active decision and the other is just extreme laziness, as they said.
Objectively speaking, pissing in a bottle saves you the time it takes for you to go to the bathroom, and you'd only need to empty mutliple bottles all at once, once.
DIRTY dishes have a similar advantage: you can save up several days worth of dishes and just clean them all at once. Its very similar to loading up the dishwasher but only washing dishes once a week.
MOLDY dishes are significantly worse because you've let your laziness become a health hazard. There's no piss bottle equivalent to a pile of dishes releasing black spores into the air.
Plus, unless you're ordering takeout every day or dont cook for yourself, you're ALREADY going to the kitchen. On your next trip you can take the last dish and put it in the dishwasher.
If you're going turboNEET and not showering, you can potentially never step into the bathroom by pissing in a bottle.

Yeah, piss in a bottle is far worse, in theory at least. I say this as a truck driver ans former detailer for a company, I know from experience what happens when some jackass fills a gallon jug and leaves it in his truck when he quits, and that gallon jug breaks. Its horrific.
You can wash away mold, but you can't wash away the mental anguish of smelling 6 month old urine coating the entire carpet of a semi sleeper.
Yes, I've also had instances where I've needed to relieve myself in a bottle when out on the road. I am not proud of it, but it is what it is.
