I love when Nick makes new G body videos. I just look out into my garage at my SS and think to myself, “This thing’s value has basically doubled in the last five years.” Insane, but that’s the current market. Looking through Marketplace and Craigslist, a complete, rough project car is now hovering around $5k. Is the G body becoming the tri-five of the 80’s? 🤔

Those damn cars were sweet when I was a kid. I must say, they still look amazing.
Whomever put the engine in did a good job, looks fairly untouched but if it's a 5.7L it was obviously put in because these were not available with the 350, you could only get the 5.0L 305.
And they sucked. No power at all

305s was nothing but boat anchors and good cruise engines 😂
It was available in a 350 and a 4 speed manual, but only in a 84 model and only in Mexico.
Look at the wear on the seats and pedals. A lot more than 47k miles. Probably rolled at least once.
147k miles I’d guess but it’s worth saving and restoring seems solid
147,000 is what I thnking too, considering all the wear and tare that is visible and needs to be taken care of.
i had a 85 SS T-tops pulled the 305 out doped in a 350, good cars nice ride

Probably just sway bar bushings making that rattle... easy fix. Those Monty's are well sought after. I bet she's already sold!
That's a nice project automobile easy to work on , I will rebuild the engine and the interior front suspension make sure is not rust you still can find parts for it and a paint job it will look brand new 👍

Nice Mc they are hard to find in decent condition now days! Tlc is all it need to be a nice cruiser.
