Tremonti brings amazing riffs that are stunningly simple yet deliciously complex in just the right places, knowing exactly when to embellish and how to through an odd chord or discordant note here and there to really make the sound hit you right in the gut. And Kennedy! Best vocalist since Cornell, hands down.
I've tried over and over again, but man...I just hate Myles' voice. The song structures are boring as well. Tremonti is a good guitar player, but unfortunately that's it...

One of my favorite riffs of the 2010s. This tune would have fit right into the 1980s and would have been a classic of the era, and I mean that as a compliment.

i discovered alter bridge in 2004 on an mtv mini-acoustic set. they played their singles to be off of one day remains. "broken wings" number one, "open your eyes" number 2 and "burn it down" i have loved them ever since.
Came here after seeing fem band Plush cover it. they did it great. Now, I see why they picked this song, and I'd never even heard of Alter Bridge. Don't judge; we can't be all-informed at all times. The movie Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge had the song Revelation by American Pearl playing during it's climax. This song has a similar rhythm that it could've fit in it's place.

What's truly amazing is how effortlessly they are. Miles, alone, sings so high without even trying. Everyone else is incredibly talented.
