  • Singapore Republic of Singapore Temple video by Brian Olson. This video is NOT an official video of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is an attempt by me to recreate the temple based upon the official render released by the Church, and I have no doubt it is wrong. But it was still fun to make.

They said the Kumasi Ghana Temple would be a two-story building of nearly 22,000 square feet. I initially imagined that it would use the same core plan to the Abidjan Ivory Coast Temple, but then, i thought in detail about the size, using as reference to the Lima Perú Los Olivos Temple, and i've got the conclusion that it would share the same core plan to the Harare Zimbabwe, Nairobi Kenya, Freetown Sierra Leone and Lubumbashi D.R.C. temples but with the difference that would feature a staircase that leads to the full size basement.

I love this one! I remember they said it was going to be a two floor-plan but it looks to me like the Praia or perhaps San Juan floor-plan

You are thinking exactly the same way I was thinking when I started. I thought it was the Praia plan, which is about 30% wider than San Juan. Only, when I scaled Praia to be the same size as the land, It did not fit, Almost half of the model was OUTSIDE the property line. So then I figured it had to be San Juan. Only San Juan Barely fits inside the property, but completely blocks access to the rear building! So what I found was that this MUST be even smaller. I also remembered Newsroom said it was 2 story, 18,000 square feet. But this is definitely a single story ABOVE ground.
So, as there are indications that this *might* have below ground parking, I am thinking this might have the second story underground.

@@BrianOlsonPhotogent A tiny temple. I wish you make a 3D model for the Kaohsiung Taiwan Temple

@@BrianOlsonPhotogent Hey that's so cool! So it would be like the Abidjan Ivory Coast Temple? I thought it was one floor-plan but with the recent photos I saw a staircase so I'm not sure anymore

Abidjan is absolutely 2 stories. It's about the same size as Praia, but with a full sized basement. That makes it about 16,000-18,000 square feet. In case you were wondering, as near as I can tell, Abidjan is ALSO too big to fit on the site! So I just have no idea how this temple is going to work!
