Totally agree with the economic intuition. We always had to give those annoying intuitions after every calculation in theory of the firm. Also past exams literally saved my ass in statistics 😂

I am 3 science major at high school atm. But I really enjoy economics I don’t take it but I enjoy reading the text book that my friend has which is a economics major in high school. I wnat to do economics instead when I go to university. Do you think I can switch? Because I love science but I really enjoy economics.
Hi Sissi! I'm an incoming freshman planning to major in Business-Economics but I don't necessarily have a strong math background. Does majoring in Business Econ require a strong math background like other tracks do?
I’m really not sure because that track was made in my second or third year of college so I don’t know any friends who are in that track! It should definitely be less math intensive but since it’s still econ it will still have math I’m sure
Hey! Thank you so much for this video. I really want to major in Economics, but I'm not doing well at all in AP Macro as a senior, and although I've been accepted, I'm really worried I'll struggle even more in college. I get math, and I'm good at it (in Multi), but I'm worried my performance in AP Macro will be a bad indicator for my performance in Econ at UChicago. I'm not sure if it's my teacher or me. What do you think??
There's honestly no way to know unless you try it out! (remember this is what add drop period of 3 weeks is for!)

I think it depends on what country you are coming from but check out the Odyssey program as that definitely funds international students!

Not really! I actually feel like the "grade deflation" at UChicago is greatly overstated.
