  • When I first saw this level I was immediately intrigued because of the song it used. I'm a fan of Cacola's work so to see a level use the entirety of The Angel was really cool. And the level does the song justice. It has great song representation and progression, it feels calm in areas and intense in others, and it is one hell of a journey. Despite the level being 55 minutes long, the decoration never really gets stale while staying cohesive. It's really interesting too - it uses the 2.2 shaders very well to create these psychedelic and trippy effects. Some may argue that the decoration is too empty in areas. However, the level should stay optimized, and also the open nature of the level gives it an identity - namely in the structuring. Admittedly, I found it sort of annoying because many of the structures are sort of designed to mislead the player, which is actually my biggest gripe with the gameplay of this level. Also, I don't know if the LDM of this level doesn't work because of how long it is, or if there just isn't any LDM at all, but I really wish it did because I ended up lagging in a few parts which dampened the experience of this level a little bit. Otherwise it's great to play. I think it is really well balanced too. 90-100 being the hardest part may seem annoying, but I love the adrenaline rush that part gave me when I beat it. I've never felt so alive playing Geometry Dash then I did playing the last 10% of this level from the beginning. Definitely one of my new favorite levels.
I also think this level is pretty underrated in difficulty... Most people think it's an easy extreme, but I definitely think its a fair bit harder than Bloodbath at least. Bloodbath took me like 2 days to beat while this took me around a week. Maybe my nerve control is really bad, I don't really know.
    Enjoyment: 9/10
    Attempts: 442
    Worst fails: 52, 55, 60x2, 80
