Spectralock 1 is my absolute favorite grout because it's like epoxy but without the mess!! Subscribe for more tips and visit homerepairtutor.com for online home improvement courses
Spectrlock only comes in slightly sanded mix. No unsanded option. Great product. Durability of epoxy without mixing. Pot time is short. Great video!
Just grouted my shower with it yesterday! I love that it's premixed and has epoxy like benefits!
This is such a well crafted piece of instruction. You rock man. Nice succinct
Info, well filmed.
I just finished installation of a porcelain tile floor now I need to grout. I already purchased spectra LLC but I’ve never used premixed grout so this video is perfect timing. Great video. I plan on viewing it a dozen more times as I begin each step. Thanks
Great video! Thanks for sharing how easy it is to use and the great tips!
Your work is beautiful!!
I’ve used it 3 times and I set my watch at ten minutes. It works for me, but I’m probably pushing the limit
Thank you!!
Would you recommend this for a tiled shower floor or an epoxy like Spectralock epoxy? Didn't know if one was more stain resistant and more waterproof. I'm about to do my 2x2 shower floor. Thanks!
Great video...Thanks a million !!!
thank you, hopefully it has some helpful tips 👍🏼🔥🔥
Good video . What size grout lines did you use ? Thanks . I have glass 3x6 subway and determining grout line size
So...I just finished watching your older video about using Laticrete Spectralock Epoxy Grout. Is this a better option for more novice grout replacers like myself? Does this version of Spectralock (Spectralock 1) also repel stains and hold up maintenance free like the epoxy does? Looking to be as maintenance free as possible, but definitely not a pro.
Love it
Awesome video thank you!!
How does that grout compare to mapie’s flexcolor? Flexcolor is gritty, is that the same ?
What color of grout did you use? Thanks!
What is the TroXell for and how do you use it? Is it mixed in with the grout or applied before or what? I am going to try this as my bathroom is in need of a regrouting. Thanks for the great video.
That’s the grout float, the brand name. I’m using Laticrete Spectralock 1. It’s a great premixed grout
Prefer the full Spectralock Pro three part epoxy. Never had a single issue with it even on my own house (17 years now).
did u use on corners joints? or did you caulk that? any cracking yet? stains? what color did u use?
45 degree angle.
I used Mapei Ultracolor and have to say it SUCKED, still has color issues.
it cures nice and and hard but you're right about color, especially for wet areas. colour is inconsistent
I can pack the joints but then I just smoke em and forget to grout the tile 🤷♂️ lol
If you want man I can teach you how to grout faster 😂
that seems super annoying having to switch between floating and sponging every 5 minutes, turns a 30 minute job into hours
5 minutes work time is definitely NOT beginner friendly. If you are beginner, choose a different product.
I got kerapoxy CQ is this something you’ve used before and do you recommend it ?
