@StarFirePlays it's sad seeing how new generations are less caring about most things than back in the early 2010,s. Back in those days, people had no issues. But with how tik tok and other things are. The more and more new generations come. My Generations from 2003 through 2021 were the last generation that understood things.

3:30 the way the music changed to slow and sad broke me. It reminded me of the time my dog ran away and i had 2 or 3 dreams about him returning, but it was the last one that made me wake up nearly bawling. I was outside walking around in my dream and i saw him running over to me. This reminds me of the old days of CZcams when I watched DanTDM, PopularMMOs, Aphmau, and so many more. They raised me to be who I am today and I'm so happy for that
I have a very distinct memory of me and my friends skipping class one afternoon. We hid behind the church, which had a wide view of the open fields. For a few hours, we goofed around, compared MP3 players and music libraries, complained about homework. It's the first time I've actually had a proper "golden hour" experience; everything looked so picturesque, surrounded by gold fields and laughing friends.
Moved into the city for college, and somewhere along that, we all lost contact with each other. A couple got left behind, one left for abroad, and I barely saw the other friend that also went to college until our connection eventually fell off as we got more serious into our careers.
I'm now doing graduate school and that one afternoon from years ago is still such a vivid memory. This song perfectly captured that feeling of growing older and looking back at childhood memories and connections that shaped who we are today regardless of how life had turned out. Ed is such a fantastic songwriter.

Then when I was a teenager I experienced 10 years of Vietnam. Saw friends go away and never come back. My husband was drafted. We were 19. Got engaged when he left. He was killed in VM. HE was 20 years old. Be happy you aren’t living during a war. Many of us will never forget that.
This song reminds me on when i was little and i would run in feilds and play stupid horse and hero roleplays with my little kid friends and act like life was perfect and innocent without our world problems 😪 and i kinda had flashbacks of friends coming and going through out the song 😞 still my favorite song tho lmao

Im a year late but I watched Ed last May (2022) and it was surreal. My favourite Ed song by far until I fell in love with "You need me, I don't need you" at the concert in Cardiff. Besides his projects with Eminem like "River" and "Remember me" this album is his best work
