    I'm a Colcestrian born and raised. I spent 22 years there and then moved to North America, where I have lived happily for 44 years. Expertly done sir and very nostalgic for me. Thank you.

    I was very proud that I had lived and studied in such a historical town for more than 3 month, I still miss the wonderful sceneries of there

    You missed a trick with the castle part . It was The Temple of Claudius before, they built the castle on its foundation

      I'm normally reticent about using reconstructions of places but as Colchester has such interesting Roman roots I couldn't resist delving further back!

    I don't like Colchester today, it's really gone to the Dogs. Sad was a lovely town years ago.
