For finding the answer of example two, could I just already find the area of the shaded region then the total area separately, and THEN divide?

On the number line, why did you do the length of BC divided by the total length? I thought you do it by points, thinking the answer was 4/9.

It’s by the length of success(what you want) divided by the total possible outcome (length) hope that helps!
