The odds are wrong for spinning. The odd for spinning on 4 sliced pizza is 1.25 and not 1/3

Your video is the only way I could understand the probability, odds in favor, odds against. I tried for 2 weeks with family members who are amazing at math trying to help me and I could not understand. Plus reading the examples in the text and taking extensive notes. Still no dice. I needed to get this for me to do well in my MAT-144 class. I cannot thank you enough for explaining it so simply so this tired momma could understand.

hey can you help/ if i play a lottery and gota choose 5 numbers out of 1 to 59. what are my odds of winning. it states 1 in 834000 but how if you do 59 x 58 x57 x56x55 devided by 5 factorial it come out as 5 million to 1 but the lottery site states1 in 834000?

Thank you, I have two or three questions :
in experimental probability, what are the factors that determine it? for example in european roulette there are 36 numbers in addition to a single zero, so the number 8 ( for example ) must come in 37 spins ( theoretically ) but experimentally may come after 70 or 80 spins ( or maybe more ), me and others talk about luck that if you are very lucky, 8 will come in first spin and vice versa, is there a definition of luck in math? or is there any explanation by numbers to this luck how to happen ?
