PIK 2 - A Slice of Europe? In Jakarta? 🇮🇩

- PIK 2 is brand new area in Jakarta that has some beautiful spots for tourism. I've heard it's been going viral amongst Indonesian locals so I decided to visit PIK2 with Aloha beach and La Riviera being some of my favorites.

With my CZcams videos I aim to show a different perspective than what most travel vloggers would do by interacting with people and really getting the local insights of the places I visit. No matter their social background I treat everyone equal. Sometimes this results in awkard conversations but I love it!

iam forget.. did you had visited Taman Mini Indonesia Indah Tim? TMII is large park with real size traditional houses from all over Indonesia and has some museum. you can easily spend a whole day in TMII because its big park. To reach TMII you can try new LRT line from Dukuh Atas Station in central Jakarta.
Indonesians like to travel to Europe and Hawaii, so the government simply brings Europe and Hawaii to Indonesia. How smart!
I think the fake Venice River is more beautiful at night and feels so romantic!
I believe if you know how to use chopsticks well, it is really more convenient to use chopsticks to eat noodles, and the noodles will taste better!

fyi, pantai indah kapuk 2 (PIK 2) is an independent city which currently has the size wide of approximately 6000 hectar. 6000 hectar land for independent city of PIK 2 and it's not certain A.K.A these independent city can be extended anytime by the PIK 2 company. And these city is still on development (not 100% fully finished yet), it takes a couple years ahead but indeed some areas of PIK 2 have been opened and can be visited by public.

Tim, if you are still staying in Indonesia for a while, I strongly recommend you come to Toraja, South Sulawesi, to see many things, like the traditional Toraja funeral ceremony, ancient stone graves, and a complex of rock graves in cliffs with caves containing coffins and human remains. Tongkonan traditional houses, museums, etc.

The price food in PIK is hell compare to Jakarta City 😂
You can go to PIK 2 through busway (TransJakarta) from Monas to PIK (Pantjoran) then take a free shuttle bus to PIK 2

Food price in PIK are the same or even more expensive especially the gelato you visit then in Europe😅
I think you're right. I was also surprised prices were so high there. I guess that might be the reason that it wasn't so busy.
@@timtense My guess it is due to the rent is very high there as the area is actually was a landfill from sea previously like in some part of Amsterdam.😀

Lol rookie mistake - the one in yellow bottle actually kecap ( sweet soy sauce ) it pronounce the same as ketchup hence the confusion - the one in red bottle is either chilli ketchup or tomato - the one you drink is ice tea - the brand name is teh botol
