My son and l met him at the Kingston foreshore hotel launching his beer,Travla.We are huge fans of his acting in Vikings and Danger Close,to name only 2 of his acting credits! He was friendly,approachable,shook hands,signed autographs and seemed totally unspoiled by his fame.l hope he stays that way x l have his picture with my son,in my home and treasure it.Good on you Travis,you are an Aussie Legend and l'm sure that your family are super proud of you!

Black people have been represented in a real way for ages, especially with slavery but I don't think we can go forward thinking that slavery was done as a consequence of race. If you do some digging the North African pirates were taking slaves from Southern Europe and even as far as Iceland and other parts of Africa of course. Slavery was a universal practice race was irrelevant unfortunately it is portrayed racial only affecting blacks. The way forward is to acknowledge that every race was enslaved and oppressed and not use history as an excuse to be racist. Because the current and historically inaccurate narrative of slavery is building resentment toward White people.

the role that will always follow him is Ragnar, he should have won an Oscar for that. After that role I think he didn't care to be the lead so he played and is playing second and third roles. This is wrong, he is a great talent and he should be the first and not the last

He went from 0:23 to 4:00 in 20 years and hes only 44. I would think he has all the resources he needs to develop himself and his personality to make himself lucky, but he just looks like a trashy drunk. Someone explain.
he drinks a lot, I don't think it's drug related. He always has a nervousness in interviews, shakes a lot and doesn't do well. When I saw him as Ragnar I thought he would be a very powerful man, when I saw him in an interview he was like a puppy.
