Happy to see another one of your great videos Jiffy! Seems like you and your son had a memorable time. Thank you so much for sharing, already looking forward to the next vid!!
Great to see another video. Looks to be a really nice memory in the making for you both. Having that tarp over the entrance of the tent makes such a difference, I've used a similar system when I take the dog and want to do proper cooking. Thanks for posting, I enjoyed it. Rowan.
Thanks for a great video with your lovely lad. I have both pieces of kit, but yet try your set up - looks great. One question, did you sew a loop onto the tent halfway up the door leafs to pull the front up " to get the extra space inside ? Thanks, Mike
Very well done and shareable moment. Congratulations on your good memory building experience. Question: how long was your sleeping pad? Regular 72” or long 78”. Also, any condensation issues? Does the young man want to go again? 😊
Thank you. Both pads are regular 72”, we still had space for both of our packs at the foot end. Zero condensation throughout. He loves camping and will definitely come again. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment 👍🏻
I’ve been wearing them almost everyday for the past couple of months. They are a bit weird when first put on because I’ve never worn zero drop before. They are very comfortable and have some ankle support too. They haven’t let any water in yet but I take a pair of otter socks just in case. Longevity is yet to be seen so we will have to wait and see. At the moment though, I really like them 👍🏻
There's a memorial garden in dolgarrog makes you realise why the dam breaking killed so many people huge boulders dragged down by the water 😯😟 my favourite place in snowdonia that road up though..put the car in a ditch last winter £180 to get it winched out 🙄
Yes mate, I visited the memorial in my first film here about 5 years ago. The boulders are huge! Yes the drops either side of the road are risky plus having to reverse back quite a way to let cars passed is a pain 👍🏻
Thanks for your help.

Rowan.
Cheers Rowan. Yes the tarp was great when it started to rain, so much more space for admin etc. ATB Jiffy 👍🏻
You're helping the young man to create some long lasting memories.
He loves wild camping and will definitely come on more soon 👍
I love Camping to get out there and see the world in front of you.
Good to see you both back out 👍🏻
Cheers Chris 👍
Great video going to get my wife and boy out one day. 🤟❤️
Thank you 👍🏻
Looks like you had a great adventure with your son. Nice setup combining the tarp and tent!
Cheers mate. It was a great little adventure. ATB Jiffy 👍

Cheers Mike. The loop is already there, I just attached the line to it 👍
Great vlog, interesting about the dam burst.
Thank you. It is interesting to see the dam still there, preserved almost as it was 99 years ago 👍

Hay jiffy, how do you find the all weather altra line peak boots ?, I’m still using the lone peak 5 at the mo but in the market for boots ?
